\nRole Summary
\nWe\u2019re seeking a dynamic\u00a0Location Manager\u00a0to lead operations at one of our camp locations. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role requiring exceptional organizational, leadership, and operational skills. You\u2019ll be responsible for managing daily camp operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining standards, and driving profitability while aligning with our values of authenticity, care, and sustainability.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Manage all Front of House operations
\nEnsure an exceptional guest experience aligned with The Slow Leopard standards
\nLead and motivate on-site staff teams across departments
\nOversee safety, hygiene, repairs, procurement, stock control, and compliance
\nSupport financial management, including cost control and reporting
\nMaintain relationships with local communities and suppliers
\nCollaborate with management teams for smooth operations and communication
\nMonitor and maintain assets, vehicles, equipment, and facilities
\nEnforce staff discipline, leave management, training, and well-being<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
5+ years\u2019 experience\u00a0in hospitality or camp\/lodge management
\nFluent in\u00a0English and Swahili\u00a0(spoken and written)
\nStrong leadership and team management skills
\nExcellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
\nProven ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational logistics
\nCommitted to sustainability and community engagement
\nWilling to live on-site in a remote, wilderness environment<\/p>\n
