\nPosition overview
\nA trainer \u00a0has a \u00a0vital \u00a0role in empowering families and communities through education and skill development. Your primary \u00a0responsibility will be to deliver engaging \u00a0training sessions \u00a0on health and environment, \u00a0entrepreneurship, and \u00a0agricultural \u00a0practices, \u00a0aimed \u00a0at enhancing\u00a0\u00a0 the \u00a0well\u2022 being and self-sufficiency of FFHC beneficiaries.<\/p>\n
This \u00a0position \u00a0requires \u00a0travel \u00a0by motorcycle \u00a0in remote \u00a0villages. \u00a0Applicants \u00a0need a \u00a0motorcycle license to complete their duties.
\nResponsibilities:
\nTeaching:<\/p>\n
Deliver Health and Environment training sessions, emphasizing the importance of the 16 points of a healthy home through practical demonstrations of hygiene and sanitation practices.
\nConduct Entrepreneurship workshops covering topics such as savings, financial management, and marketing skills, while encouraging families to join savings groups.
\nProvide leadership and discipleship training \u00a0to project and site leaders, fostering personal \u00a0and community development.
\nInstruct families in the Farming Foundations curriculum, Farming God\u2019s Way and assist them with Heifer Raising Goats for Milk \u00a0and Meat curriculum.
\nEducate families on proper record-keeping for goat milk production, breeding, health, and veterinary care, offering one-on-one training as needed<\/p>\n
Plan, Organize & Coordinate:<\/p>\n
Plan and organize training sessions, ensuring \u00a0high enrollment of targeted recipients twice per year.<\/p>\n
Develop training syllabus for each session and maintain \u00a0electronic copies for future reference.
\nCollaborate with other departments to create additional training curricula.
\nNotify all relevant stakeholders, including families, site leaders, village and church leaders, and FFHC departments, of upcoming training dates.
\nSupervise the roles of the Health and Environment & Entrepreneurship departments.
\nConduct door-to-door visits to gather feedback from families following each training session at least once or twice per quarter.
\nCoordinate youth programs \u00a0focusing on entrepreneurship, health and environment, savings, leadership, and Farming Foundations.<\/p>\n
Work with experts and third parties to develop comprehensive training content covering FFHC topics.
\nEnsure all necessary tools, materials, and equipment for training \u00a0sessions \u00a0are available at least once a week prior to the scheduled date.
\nOversee quarterly goat husbandry training for all recipients at every site.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate input of goat and family records into FFHC databases on a quarterly basis.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Desire to live and lead\u00a0like\u00a0Jesus and alignment with Food \u00a0for His Children\u2019s core values and beliefs
\nDiploma and or Bachelor Degree in education, business \u00a0or related field.
\nTwo (2) years\u2019 previous \u00a0experience as a trainer, corporate training \u00a0specialist, or related position preferably in rural or community development settings.
\nExcellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\nProficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software.
\nExperience with technologies and best practices for instructional manuals \u00a0and teaching platforms.
\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
\nProficiency in record-keeping and data management.
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a \u00a0passion for empowering families and communities.
\nOrganized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules.
\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills
\nKnowledge of Instrumental designs (picture)
\nAbility to interact and teach lessons to both kids and adults
\nMust have a motorcycle driving license and drive a motorcycle<\/p>\n
