\n***Please note, this opportunity is open to Tanzanian Nationals only***
\nSuccessful candidates will be responsible for picking up and dropping off passengers in a timely and courteous manner while ensuring ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as safety and customer service standards. The Driver is also responsible for keeping the vehicle in a clean and orderly state. The successful candidate will have excellent driving and customer service skills, with a valid driver\u2019s license and a clean driving record. They should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills and be able to handle stressful situations in a professional manner.
\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Complete the daily Vehicle Check Sheet, to maintain the operational reliability of the vehicle, reporting, when necessary, any vehicle defaults in line with the Vehicle Inspection procedure.
\nDrive the Company vehicles ensuring that the vehicle is safe and secure at all times
\nOperate the vehicle safely within close proximity to the aircraft using all safety systems of the vehicle
\nMaintaining a clean and tidy vehicle at all times.
\nDeliver or collect the passengers at the aircraft door and assist with the transfer into their seat or wheelchair through safe manual handling techniques (if required).
\nEscort passengers through the terminal\/security and boarding flights or meeting arriving flights and assisting through to baggage reclaim.
\nEnsure that there is constant job updates on progress of jobs at all times using Radio.
\nPerforming any other tasks as assigned related to organisation<\/p>\n
Safety<\/p>\n
Ensure that safety briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is a risk exposure, role model safe behaviours and follows up on corrective actions.
\nComply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and control to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
\nEnsure the safety of staff that they have the skills, knowledge and confidence to work safely by providing support, directions, being a role model for the desire safety behaviours and leading with safety.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Holder of a valid Zanzibari driver\u2019s license
\nGood communication and customer service skills
\nMust be able to works a flexible schedule<\/p>\n
