They will ensure all preservation works are carried out using safe working practices and are completed in accordance with the project reference codes, standards, drawings and specifications.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n* ACTIVITIES:<br \/>\nThe Job Holder is responsible for:<\/p>\n<p>Directly supporting the EPcmC staff &amp; the CONTRACTORs ensuring delivery of the Pipeline and associated AGI, MST facilities and EITS infrastructure are on-time and to budget.<br \/>\nTo provide on the job training and coaching to local content personnel, liaising either directly or indirectly with training providers to ensure training is provided and performance monitoring of such.<br \/>\nImplement, use and communicate safe work practices on and off the project sites.<br \/>\nReview of CONTRACTORs submitted preservation documents such as QCP\u2019s, ITP\u2019s, SOP\u2019s and WMS\u2019s<br \/>\nAttend COMPANY CONTRACTOR quality audits and engage as directed.<br \/>\nMonitor compliance with the COMPANY CONTRACTOR preservation document deliverables and data.<br \/>\nMonitor CONTRACTOR implementation of the approved preservation plans and procedures.<br \/>\nAttend specific preservation focused compliance audits\/surveillance reviews as scheduled or necessary.<br \/>\nReview equipment and material preservation plans that encompass receipt inspection, site storage, post installation, pre-commissioning and handover.<br \/>\nMonitor &amp; report on the activities of contracted 3rd party preservation entities (where applicable)<br \/>\nWhere applicable, confirm 3rd Party practitioners on site are suitably qualified in preservation processes.<br \/>\nExpedite and report on the status of preservation performance against agreed Quality KPI\u2019s.<br \/>\nMaintain and update databases and record storage for preservation reports and compliance audits.<br \/>\nInspect critical materials &amp; equipment and confirm they have monitored preservation records available<br \/>\nMonitoring of installed equipment to ensure post-warehouse preservation requirements are maintained<br \/>\nAttend regular scheduled project meetings as required and verify preservation metrics and KPI\u2019s tabled.<br \/>\nWork within a multi-cultural business framework and provide ethical and compliant support.<br \/>\nMentor exemplary behavior regarding HSE, Ethics and Company \u201cCode of Conduct\u201d policy.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n* REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:<\/p>\n<p>Competency and proven experience within Worley or equivalent proprietary management systems and associated desktop applications for project delivery<br \/>\nCompetency within industry applications such as Assure, OMIE, Aconex, SharePoint, Adobe, MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio<br \/>\nDemonstrated knowledge of construction compliance, risk controls and site HSE hierarchy<br \/>\nA high focus on identifying and meeting the key project deliverables and quality objectives.<br \/>\nDemonstrate proficiency in the interpretation of supplier, vendor documents, specifications and warranty<br \/>\nKnowledge of auditing processes and ISO 9001<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, ISO codes and other applicable codes and standards.<br \/>\nGeneral knowledge of machinery equipment and preservation programs for mechanical and process equipment, piping, electrical, and instrumentation\/controls equipment used in Oil and Gas industry<br \/>\nComprehensive understanding of on and off-site preservation methodologies and best practices<br \/>\nKnowledge of root cause analysis (RCA); data-driven decision, risk analysis, analytical reporting<br \/>\nDemonstrated communication skills including the ability to articulate preservation concerns and solutions with teams consisting of individuals with various technical and educational backgrounds.<br \/>\nPrevious experience working with multicultural contractors\u2019 and reporting their quality performance.<br \/>\nStaff management experience (knowledge of mentoring and motivation techniques)<br \/>\nAutonomous, self-motivated, and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n* CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT:<\/p>\n<p>The EACOP project includes a 1445km 24in oil export pipeline, 8 above ground facilities and a series of main line block valves and trace heating stations, and a green field marine terminal with an export jetty. 150km of feeder lines from Upstream facilities will tie-in to the EACOP project. The EACOP Project will be the largest privately led with Government participation transnational infrastructure project ever undertaken in East African region. The project overall tonnage is estimated at 500,000t of material and equipment.<br \/>\nBehind the numerous technical (the longest electrically heat traced pipeline in the world), environmental and social\u00a0challenges faced by the project, the Governments of Uganda and Tanzania agreed to develop EACOP in a fast-track mode. The project is aims for a Ready for Start-up (RFSU) schedule 39 months after FID.<br \/>\nThe Project context is complex with numerous Contractor and Package Manager interfaces within the Integrated Project Team, three partners, development in two countries new to oil development (Uganda and Tanzania), and the need for project development in accordance external financing requirements.<br \/>\nThe field-based positions are located at Contractor Accommodation camp &amp; offices at Contractor Main Camp and Pipe yard locations in Tanzania. Position is on an 8\u00d72 rotation, 6 workdays per week, 10-hour workdays involving routine monitoring at Contractor work sites within the area of responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n* ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/p>\n<p>Ensure compliance with Tanzanian rules, regulations, shareholder and governmental agreements, and standards relevant to project activities and project implementation in compliance with requirements in construction deliverables and site activities.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with project requirements and regulatory frame in pipeline construction related activities.<br \/>\nSupporting and coordinating EACOP project teams processes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\n* QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:<\/p>\n<p>Hold a mechanical inspector or plant inspector certification issued by a recognised international certification scheme such as ASQ \/ AWS \/ API or other Company agreed applicable qualification that support the preservation assurance management and compliant execution delivery of the onshore Pipeline and related AGI, MST facilities and EITS infrastructure scopes.<br \/>\nA minimum of 12-year preservation inspection related working experience including at least 8 years\u2019 proven work experience as QA\/QC preservation supervisor or preservation engineer in the oil &amp; gas industry.<br \/>\nPrevious Quality assurance\/engineering experience and demonstrated knowledge\/use of Quality tools\/methodologies.<br \/>\n8 years of technical preservation experience working within a cross-functional oil &amp; gas pipeline project team supporting; engineering, interface, contractor construction and commissioning readiness.<br \/>\nExperience with coordinating CONTRACTOR preservation programs<br \/>\nExperienced in analysing welding &amp; NDE metrics to report accurate KPI\u2019s and potential non-compliance trends and status back to the Quality Lead and project management team<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
