Job Purpose
\nResponsible for core banking platform development, configuration management and functional support in line with the Bank\u2019s Service Level Agreements (SLA). The responsibilities of the role also include facilitating seamless integration with other interdependent software applications, business analysis and requirements gathering, application testing, report development, knowledge transfer to designated ICT team members, training of end users and management of service level agreements with application vendors.
\nKey Responsibilities\/Tasks
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support the Head of ICT in driving projects and changes related to the CBS.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Build and Manage the Digital Solutions unit and team under ICT Department.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Functional support of the Core Banking system and interdependent interfaces
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Research and recommend Innovative ideas, and where possible automation for system administration efficiency.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.p
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Create, amend and delete\/disable the system\u2019s user accounts as per requests and procedures.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Define, document, and maintain best practices, and support procedures (configuration, operational etc.).
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Identify, analyze and resolve reported system problems and coordinate with 3rd part for solutions required adhering to SLA.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Investigate user problems, identify root cause, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Implement and\/or upgrade applications and provide second-line support for Production, Disaster Recovery sites and test environments.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure that Core Banking Application, tools and data are available on the disaster recovery site at any time required.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Guarantee execution of Business Continuity for Core Banking System, for both system, resources and availability of sufficient inhouse support.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Supervise the implementation of Business Continuity Policy for Core Banking System.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage and ensure sufficient knowledge transfer to designated ICT team members for all critical CBS processes, and functional knowledge to ensure BCP as per bank policies.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Investigate and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize Core Banking application availability.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Resolving logged tickets and calls in a timely manner as per Service Level Agreements.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lead projects and sub projects in banking SI deals
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Manage internal and external escalations.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Managing internal status reports and stakeholder relationships.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Support and provide guidance to IMT employees on issues related to the Core Banking System.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Handle and implement requests for application customizations
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Validating software fixes received from the vendor before deployment in the production environment.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Working with vendors in the process of troubleshooting escalated incidents including being available 24\/7 when needed.
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Any other duties as may be assigned by management

\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Ensure effective adoption and utilization of risk management tools
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Drive remediation of risk management exceptions identified during audit or risk reviews
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Promote risk management culture
\nSkills, Knowledge and Abilities
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Proficiency with Core Banking Systems, particularly Finacle CBS version 10.xxx
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Implementation and management experience of Core Banking Systems (Finacle particularly)
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience in managing Backup \/ Recovery processes and Systems \/ Business Continuity
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Demonstrated expertise in managing banking application support processes including application defect management
\n\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Experience working in a deadline-oriented incident management environment managing multiple issues simultaneously
