{"id":1302,"date":"2025-04-17T08:02:07","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T08:02:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/manager-ecosystem-digital-lending-at-equity-bank\/"},"modified":"2025-07-22T00:50:07","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T00:50:07","slug":"manager-ecosystem-digital-lending-at-equity-bank","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1302","title":{"rendered":"Manager Ecosystem &amp; Digital Lending at Equity Bank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>General:<br \/>\nJob Title: Manager \u2013 Ecosystem &amp; Digital Lending<br \/>\nDepartment\/ Division: Digital Lending<br \/>\nNumber of Vacancies: 1<br \/>\nBasic Purpose:<br \/>\n\u2022 To Drive and implement Ecosystem banking solution in the distribution ecosystems industry and position the bank as the 1st and efficient financial institution offering the solution.<br \/>\n\u2022 To link Retail, MSMEs and Corporates to effective and affordable banking solutions and drive Liabilities and assets for the bank.<br \/>\n\u2022 To Drive the branches Ecosystem &amp; digital lending portfolio both retails, MSME, agency, Merchant.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ecosystem deposit mobilization, customer onboarding and growth of digital lending portfolio<br \/>\n\u2022 To manage the day-to-day function units in support of senior manager and mainly the back office technical support and project development.<br \/>\nMain Duties and Responsibilities:<br \/>\n\u2022 Initiate, recruit and build strong business relationships with the Anchors Ecosystem (suppliers, distribution &amp; other stakeholders<br \/>\n\u2022 To mobilize Liabilities and increase the retention in line with the Ecosystem annual targets through distributor and their ecosystem collections.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure accurate capture of deposit from all borrowing customers under the digital lending value chain and the Ecosystem.<br \/>\n\u2022 Create Ecosystem &amp; Digital lending product awareness in the market recruit, train and maintain close business value relationship with all the clients on assigned branches.<br \/>\n\u2022 Training staff at the branch on the digital products and self-onboarding to the access of the digital loans<br \/>\n\u2022 Digitize all the Ecosystem value chain customers and other segment customers that fall under digital lending<br \/>\n\u2022 Custodian of all Ecosystem &amp; digital lending files at the Head Office to ensure compliance and proper KYC<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor loans given under the digital portfolio and ensure maintenance of a high portfolio quality \u2022 Manage early arrears through daily repayment tracking, issuance of demand notices, security placement request, recovery visitations, facility restructuring and follow-up with assigned branches.<br \/>\n\u2022 To ensure 100% compliance to bank policies and procedures on the Ecosystem &amp; digital lending onboarding<br \/>\n\u2022 Gathering functional and non-functional business ideas and analysing to design process flow and documentation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Take part in the management of digital projects that are related to the Bank\u2019s online channels to ensure that the technical integration and developments are aligned with the business requirements and results in a seamless and friendly customer digital interface.<br \/>\n\u2022 Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors on project planning and execution of digital lending projects<br \/>\n\u2022 Facilitating the relevant customer awareness initiatives to allow for greater product adoption.<br \/>\n\u2022 Continuous review and implementation of the customer and business feedback to make the product better.<br \/>\n\u2022 Engineering of product process flows and testing the same before going live for customer consumption.<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitoring and analyzing the various customer segments with the intent of advising the business on areas of improvement.<br \/>\n\u2022 Market research and coming up with new products or improving what\u2019s in existence.<br \/>\n\u2022 Support the Business in enhancing the customer experience through research, surveys and doing analysis to find out the customers\u2019 needs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Facilitate the bank in minimizing the risks in the channel driven lending business. All done by thorough analysis.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and review to determine that lending to the respective segments is within acceptable risk.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure that all staff are up to date with product knowledge, product use, and related product application and enlightened with the business changes and dynamics.<br \/>\n\u2022 Preparation of weekly Reports on Performance and Business Trends for use by internal management through interactive management dashboards<br \/>\n\u2022 Cross selling of other bank products and services to existing and potential customers<br \/>\nPerform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:<br \/>\nKnowledge<br \/>\n\u2022 Risk Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Financial analytical skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Technology &amp; Digital Lending.<br \/>\n\u2022 Cross selling.<br \/>\n\u2022 Relationship Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Negotiation Skills.<br \/>\nSkills<br \/>\n\u2022 Effective listening skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Good communication skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Problem solving skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 High level on integrity.<br \/>\n\u2022 Excellent in time management.<br \/>\nQualifications<br \/>\n\u2022 Business related degree from a recognized University.<br \/>\n\u2022 Masters Degree is an added advantage.<br \/>\nWork Experience<br \/>\n5 years\u2019 working experience in the Banking sector.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
