\nThe\u00a0Key Purpose\u00a0of this role is the responsibility for ensuring sustained reliability, integrity and stability of the Automation and Control Infrastructure whilst proactively enhancing and optimising these systems
\nthereby improving Quality and\/or efficiency of processes.
\nKey roles and responsibilities:
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Ensuring the integrity and reliability of production systems software and hardware from PLC devices to ERP system
\nDevelopment and maintenance of all systems components documentation as well as integrity thereof
\nCoach, guide and assist with training of all production and manufacturing systems employees
\nAssist with ensuring that the system architecture environment remains aligned with the regional manufacturing systems standards and beer division standards
\nImprovement of software maintenance and fault-finding knowledge within Production
\nSupport change management process
\nAssist with front-line support of production systems (including outside of normal working hours)
\nEnsuring systems \u201cUp Time\u201d through liaison with users
\nScoping and controlling system changes by agreeing changes with users and user then training \/coaching on new system functionality
\nManaging process control standards, by ensuring that process\/data integrity is aligned with divisional and regional risk management policy
\nOptimising Process Performance, through appropriate Problem-Solving Techniques in order to improve performance
\nSupport the management of server health via implementation of good operating practices from global
\nFacilitation, implementation and project management of automation and control systems projects to satisfy the requirements of production within budget and timelines
\nIdentify and motivate technical CAPIN justification<\/p>\n
Key skills and competencies:<\/p>\n
Specialised knowledge of Instrument and Control calibrations, configurations, maintenance, fault finding, installation
\nUnderstanding of standards, documentation standards and instrumentation protocols
\nIn-depth knowledge of Siemens PLC hardware and software
\nIn-depth knowledge in Concept, Siemens and Unity programming ability
\nIn-depth knowledge of PLC network topology including Modbus\/Modbus plus\/ ProfibusDP\/PA\/ EthernetIP\/ASI
\nWorking knowledge of wireless control networks and LAN
\nWorking knowledge of Ethernet, Network devices and servers
\nIn-depth knowledge of Wonderware\u2019s Archestra factory suite, Historian and InTouch SCADA, TopServer, RS Batch and scripting
\nGood knowledge of Microsoft database management systems and SQL queries
\nGood knowledge of reporting systems, specifically flow
\nWorking knowledge of hyper V, ability to troubleshoot and navigate
\nGood knowledge of manufacturing server maintenance<\/p>\n

\nMinimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Degree holder in Electrical\/Electronics Engineering
\nMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience in control and automation
\nKnowledge of Ab InBev policies and procedures
\nUnderstanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and IS methodologies
\nFinancial planning and control
\nKnowledge of project methodology
\nKnowledge of ISA S88 principles<\/p>\n
