ROLE DESCRIPTION
\nThis is a full-time on-site role for a Journalist based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Journalist will be responsible for crafting press releases, writing news articles, conducting in-depth research and broadcasting. The role involves covering various news topics, conducting interviews and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content.
\nREQUIREMENTS:
\n\u00b7 Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in journalism, media production, or digital content creation<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Strong multimedia skills (videography, photography & video editing)
\n\u00b7 Experience with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Photoshop etc.)
\n\u00b7 Experience with uploading content to platforms (YouTube, websites, social media)
\n\u00b7 Academic Certificates in Journalism, Multimedia, Mass Communication or related field<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Fluent in English and Swahili
\n\u00b7 High level of attention to detail
\n\u00b7 Willing to work weekends and public holidays as required
\n\u00b7 Interest in and knowledge of sports and content creation.
\nRESPONSILIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Research and produce engaging sports news and multimedia stories
\nRecord, edit, and publish video content for digital platforms
\nConduct interviews and cover live events
\nUpload content to Social Media and Content management systems
\nCollaborate with digital and editorial teams for storytelling and coverage<\/p>\n
