{"id":1451,"date":"2025-05-13T12:00:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T12:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/bank-officer-at-ecobank\/"},"modified":"2025-08-20T00:50:20","modified_gmt":"2025-08-20T00:50:20","slug":"bank-officer-at-ecobank","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1451","title":{"rendered":"Bank Officer at Ecobank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ecobank \u2013 The Pan African Bank<br \/>\nWE ARE\u00a0 HIRING<br \/>\nPosition: Bank Officer<br \/>\nReporting to: Customer Service Manager<br \/>\nLocation : Mwanza, Tanzania<br \/>\nJob Summary:<br \/>\nJob summary:<br \/>\nProvide quality cash services at branch level.<br \/>\nKey Responsibilities:<br \/>\n\u2022 Process all day counter transactions for cash\/cheque deposit\/withdrawals to the respective accounts \/customers.<br \/>\n\u2022 Handle and resolve customer inquiries\/complaints in a professional manner that are within.<br \/>\n\u2022 Perform general reconciliation and control activities especially on daily used<br \/>\nsuspense accounts.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prevention of fraud and shortages including shortages from customers\/BOT by making sure all cash paid to central cash\/customers are properly counted.<br \/>\n\u2022 Alternative vault and ATM custodian<br \/>\n\u2022 Selling and cross-selling bank products through customer interactions<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with the bank\u2019s policy and standards, local laws and regulations, controls and procedures of the bank.<br \/>\n\u2022 An ability to identify shortfalls in customer transactions that could place the bank at risk.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to identify fraudulent transactions that may cause loss to the bank.<br \/>\n\u2022 Deliver good customer services to both existing and walk-in customers.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with operations risk e.g. KYC and anti-money laundering measures plus any other controls.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure Controls and procedures on \u201cKnow Your Customer for Customer Due<br \/>\nDiligence introduced to addressed money laundering prevention and compliance risk.<br \/>\nQualification &amp; Experience:<br \/>\n\u2022 Diploma\/bachelor\u2019s degree in business related fields of study or equivalents.<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum 1 year of experience in branch operations.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
