Job Description:
\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
\n1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
\n\u2022 Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts while monitoring budgetary compliance.
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations set forth by the central bank governing financial leasing institutions.
\n\u2022 Assist in preparations of tax returns such as Monthly VAT returns and withholding taxes and ensure timely payments of taxes due.
\n\u2022 Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives while ensuring accounting practices align with organizational goals.
\n\u2022 Manage customer deposits and post transactions to operating accounts accurately.
\n\u2022 Post insurance payments and track device payments accurately.
\n\u2022 Prepare lease completion letters as required.
\n\u2022 Post purchase orders and manage posting of imprest requisitions.
\n\u2022 Process payments for staff imprest claims and refunds.
\n\u2022 Post retirements for all staff imprest accounts in a timely manner.
\n\u2022 Issue daily sales reports (Z Reports) and EFD Issue EFD receipts for all application fees and facility fees.
\n\u2022 Record fixed asset payments to suppliers for all approved procurements.
\n\u2022 Manage petty cash requisitions efficiently.
\n\u2022 Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
\n\u2022 Post all transactions in the accounting system on a daily basis to ensure real-time financial tracking.
\n\u2022 Prepare administration budgets and provide updates on lease contracts and registration documents.
\n\u2022 Act as custodian of all security documents related to financial transactions.
\n\u2022 Handle registration and discharge of cards as necessary.
\n\u2022 Process payment requisitions accurately, capturing all approved payments into the system promptly.<\/p>\n
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills required:

\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
\n\u2022 3 years\u2019 experience in a finance-related role, preferably within a financial institution
\n\u2022 Experience in working with financial institutions preferable Financial Leasing company.
\n\u2022 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
\n\u2022 Proficiency in Navision accounting software and particularly Excel.
\n\u2022 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
\n\u2022 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
