We are in search of individuals who can champion Barrick\u2019s DNA by:<br \/>\nCommunicating Honestly, Transparently, and Acting with Integrity<br \/>\nExhibiting a Results-Driven approach<br \/>\nDelivering solutions that are Fit for Purpose<br \/>\nDedicating themselves to Building a Sustainable Legacy<br \/>\nTaking Responsibility and being Accountable<br \/>\nCommitting to Zero Harm<br \/>\nCultivating strong and meaningful Partnerships<br \/>\nIf you\u2019re ready to contribute to our world-class team while embracing these values, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our diverse workforce.<br \/>\nResponsibilities<br \/>\nUnderstand and manage identified risks in the work area.<br \/>\nMinimize risks related to personnel and equipment during operations.<br \/>\nMaintain Working area Housekeeping all the time<br \/>\nDo proper Shifts handover, reporting and paperwork as required.<br \/>\nManage and maintain daily pre-start checklists for the Rock breaker; report any deviations promptly.<br \/>\nControl Ore and Waste tipping on the pass, Counting and record tipping<br \/>\nDo Prestart to all rock breakers in the required pass<br \/>\nOpen and close fingure raise chain press as per tipping and hoisting instruction<br \/>\nProvide support during equipment breakdowns to restore operations efficiently.<br \/>\nCounting and record tipping<br \/>\nGreasing to the rock breaker (BTI) start of the sift<br \/>\nDaily grizzly inspection<br \/>\nCommunication with supervisor and dispatch as per operation requirement<br \/>\nMaintain rock breaker cabins<br \/>\nIdentify workplaces Hazards<br \/>\nReporting Any Accidents or Incidents<br \/>\nQualification Requirements:<br \/>\nOrdinary secondary education<br \/>\nVETA certificate<br \/>\nConveyor Belt, Rock Breaker, Cage Operation certificate will be an added advantage<br \/>\nSkills \/ Knowledge Requirements:<br \/>\nMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in similar industry (underground)<br \/>\nExcellent verbal\/written communication skills<br \/>\nStrong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsible manner<br \/>\nExcellent collaboration skills, time management and problem-solving abilities<br \/>\nBasic understanding of mining processes and equipment<br \/>\nExperience in shaft operating operation is added advantage<br \/>\nWhat We Can Offer You<br \/>\nA comprehensive compensation package including bonuses and site-specific benefits.<br \/>\nThe ability to make a difference and lasting impact.<br \/>\nWork in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team<br \/>\nOpportunities to grow and learn with industry colleagues.<br \/>\nAccess to a variety of career opportunities across the organization.<br \/>\nWe are committed to a safe work environment, sending every person home safe and healthy every day, and leaving a sustainable legacy on our host communities<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
