\n\u2022 Mobilize a wide range of capabilities across Absa Tanzania and the Absa Group focusing upon aligning with the customer\u2019s requirements and developing the range of products\/services.
\nJob Description
\nAccountability: Sales and Service: \u2013 30%<\/p>\n
Grow the team\u2019s portfolio profitability by identifying new and existing customer potential including sales opportunities and new product promotion initiatives
\nFormulate business development strategies and objectives to meet changing market needs.
\nMonitor conformance of team using new relationship development procedures.
\nMonitor results of customer surveys against target service quality standards.
\nMonitor levels of complaints and quality of handling.
\nProactively researches competitive threats\/opportunities within the team\u2019s market and geographical area.
\nCommunicates all key messages to customers including agreed service standards, negotiated pricing, relationship team contact points (including introductions to new personnel) and new product changes.
\nKeep customers advised on the expected \u2018delivery date\u2019 for product\/credit applications.

Jobholder will be a very experienced practitioner who has direct contact with SME customers and will be required to provide a recommendation of credit applications and will be jointly accountable together with the SME Credit Team for the justification of that exposure.

\nDevelops and maintains a detailed knowledge of the SME sector in Tanzania

\nHonors B.sc-degree in Finance \/ Business Sciences or a related NQF Level 6 equivalent qualification
\n(10) years\u2019 experience in the Financial Services sector which must include proven experience

\n(5) years in a client facing role in banking.
