Head of Business Banking

\nJob purpose
\nThe overall purpose of this role is to drive and implement the Business Banking and SME strategy and provide strategic leadership to ensure business development growth with the objective of meeting the bank\u2019s financial and strategic goals for both assets and liabilities business. The role shall be responsible for driving growth, sales, and product development of business banking and SME solutions.
\nDuties<\/p>\n
Ensure strategic business planning to drive business development of bank products to new and existing business banking clients and exploit avenues for cross-selling other relevant products and services.
\nEnsure growth and retention of the bank\u2019s liabilities, assets, transactional, and trade business from the business banking clientele in line with set budget and strategic performance targets.
\nProvide high-quality service to customers, utilizing service as a sales opportunity.
\nParticipate in product development to deliver effective customer solutions.
\nEnsure that the team practices effective management of their respective clientele portfolio of business banking clients.
\nDevelop and maintain strong working relations with all existing clients at key levels to optimize the utilization of approved facilities.
\nDisplay effective leadership and management of the team(s) through their heads of departments.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
University degree in business or a related\u00a0field.
\nMaster\u2019s degree in a relevant field.
\nMember of a relevant professional body.
\nAt least 10 years of banking experience, with at least 3 years in management.
\nDemonstrated leadership skills with good command of oral and written knowledge of English.
\nCandidate must be computer literate.<\/p>\n
