Job Summary<\/p>\n
Participate in\/ provide support for the implementation of DCP Tanzania\u2019s compensation strategy.<\/p>\n
Administer payroll and statutory (or other related) remittances for employees in DCP Tanzania.<\/p>\n

\nKey Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Work collaboratively with the Senior, Compensation & Benefits to define, formulate and implement competitive reward\/compensation strategies, policies, and programs.<\/p>\n
Job search<\/p>\n
Ensure effective implementation and administration of the Company\u2019s compensation policies.<\/p>\n
Provide inputs\/recommendations for the update of DCP Tanzania\u2019s compensation policies and processes in order to reflect current realities.<\/p>\n
Ensure that administration of compensation for the organisation is in compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of staff compensation details on the payroll system.<\/p>\n
Ensure accurate and timely processing of staff salaries and benefits.<\/p>\n
Follow up with manpower providers to ensure prompt processing of contract staff salaries.<\/p>\n
Prepare and ensure timely processing and remittance of all payrolls related deductions e.g., PAYE, pension contributions, etc.<\/p>\n
Review\/validate payroll-related invoices\/schedules against relevant monthly payroll instructions.<\/p>\n
Prepare payroll impacting communication to all national employees (pay slips, salary reviews, etc).<\/p>\n
Maintain and update the compensation database and provide ad hoc reports on compensation and benefits data, staff costs, etc.<\/p>\n
Provide ad-hoc reports on headcount reconciliation and compensation benefits data.<\/p>\n
Interpret performance appraisals scores and calculate the corresponding remuneration level.<\/p>\n
Assist with implementing relevant reward structures based on performance results.<\/p>\n
Conduct compensation surveys as required and compute corresponding remuneration.<\/p>\n
Provide support in terms of queries resolution on compensation related issues.<\/p>\n
Employees\u2019 records keeping.<\/p>\n
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior or Head of Department.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n
Education and Work Experience
\nJob search<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree or its equivalent in HR or a Social Sciences related discipline.<\/p>\n
Professional qualification in HR Management e.g., Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
At least\u00a02\u00a0years\u2019 experience in compensation and payroll administration.<\/p>\n

\nSkills and Competencies<\/p>\n
Basic understanding of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations, and legislations relating to the cement manufacturing industry.
\nSAP Knowledge is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
Good knowledge and understanding of remuneration methodologies, tax policies.<\/p>\n
Good knowledge and understanding of employee reward and incentive schemes, packages etc.<\/p>\n
Good data\/numerical and analytical skills.<\/p>\n
Attention to detail.<\/p>\n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n
Good problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel<\/p>\n
