This role is responsible for reviewing technical design documents and tracking quality assurance metrics to ensure adherence to quality standards. This role is responsible for designing and implementing tests, identifying deficiencies, debugging, and defining remediating actions. The incumbent will provide software-related operations support, including providing level two and level three incident and problem support.<br \/>\nKey accountabilities and decision ownership:<br \/>\n\u2022 Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to ensure adherence to design quality and coding standards<br \/>\n\u2022 Design and implement acceptance tests for user and technical stories<br \/>\n\u2022 Test and validate solution against user story and technical story acceptance criteria, leveraging automation where possible<br \/>\n\u2022 Debug tests and provide corrective actions to software engineering<br \/>\n\u2022 Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and early life incidents<br \/>\n\u2022 Suggest improvements to user stories and UX<br \/>\nCore competencies, knowledge and experience:<br \/>\n\u2022 End-to-end solution and software test design, execution, and validation, with management of testing scenarios across teams \/ capabilities<br \/>\n\u2022 Unit, integration, smoke and static code analysis testing<br \/>\n\u2022 Architectural element testing e.g. APIs<br \/>\n\u2022 Performance and security testing<br \/>\n\u2022 Automated testing and tools e.g. Selenium<br \/>\n\u2022 Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills that drives effective constructive feedback and support<br \/>\n\u2022 Good understanding of the business capability \/ user journey, wider organizational goals, and desired product business outcomes<br \/>\n\u2022 Understanding of both the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging business and technology trends<br \/>\nMust have technical \/ professional qualifications:<br \/>\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field<br \/>\n\u2022 At least 1-3 years relevant work experience of with three or more years is in software quality assurance, testing, programming and\/or systems analysis<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with experience writing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, BDD and ATDD<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience working with multiple programming and scripting languages, such as JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, and Python<br \/>\n\u2022 Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry preferred<br \/>\n\u2022 Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) preferred<br \/>\n\u2022 Competency in UX principles and practices preferred<br \/>\nNot a perfect fit?<br \/>\nWorried that you don\u2019t meet all the desired criteria exactly?
