This is to be done alongside the administrative mandate by offering logistical support and maintenance of an efficient and conducive working environment for all employees so as to lead to the accomplishment of various LVFO activities<br \/>\nB.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Duties and responsibilities<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Develop Human Resources strategy and an annual HR work plan aligned to the organizational objectives;<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Develop HR policies and procedures and ensure their effective implementation;<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lead the process of leadership in talent acquisition, retention, workforce planning and implementation, and disengagement;<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Maintain and store Staff Personal Data in a safe and secure environment and ensure it is easier retrievable;<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lead the process of staff management, rewards, remuneration and benefits management<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Lead the process of staff induction, employee learning and training development programs;<br \/>\n7.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Manage HR risks and ensure compliance with HR policies and employment procedures;<br \/>\nJob search<br \/>\n8.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Prepare and provide unit input for timely preparation of annual program of activities and budget of LVFO;<br \/>\n9.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide advisory services on Human resource and administrative issues to management and staff;<br \/>\n10.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide protocol services to visitors and dignitaries visiting LVFO<br \/>\n11.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinate the selection and recruitment of staff in accordance with the established rules procedures and best practices<br \/>\n12.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide advice on Human Resource issues to Management and Staff<br \/>\n13.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Maintain and update LVFO database of job descriptions, skills inventory, staff establishment, job advertisements and application forms<br \/>\n14.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Initiate, formulate and manage human resource management and development Policies and Strategies for the Community;<br \/>\n15.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Design and maintain internal administrative and staff performance appraisal and monitoring systems;<br \/>\n16.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Advise on the enforcement of Staff Rules and Regulations;<br \/>\n17.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinate periodic staff performance appraisal\/evaluation exercises;<br \/>\n18.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Coordinate the selection and recruitment of staff in accordance with the established rules, procedures and practices;<br \/>\n19.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Handle matters relating to terms and conditions of service in conformity with the established Rules and Regulations;<br \/>\n20.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Initiate budget proposals for the HRA Department;<br \/>\n21.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Prepare HR progress reports and follow up on the implementation of HR related Council decisions; and<br \/>\n22.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Promote a positive corporate culture and image of the LVFO.<br \/>\n23.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Foster positive employee relations and address concerns to maintain a healthy work environment<br \/>\n24.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time<br \/>\nAdditional Responsibilities<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure that all the Office Facilities are fully functional<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure LVFO\u2019s fleet is well managed and effectively allocated<br \/>\n3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Support the development and effective implementation of the Annual Administration Work plan<br \/>\nJob search<br \/>\n4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Handle all security matters and safe custody of all LVFO\u2019s assets<br \/>\n5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure a sufficient supply of Office Consumables so as to avoid any disruption in day-to-day operations<br \/>\n6.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Identify the key risks in Administration and ensuring that they are mitigated<br \/>\nC.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Qualification and working experience<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0A Honours Bachelors\u2019 Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development or Organizational Psychology, or Social Work and Social Administration or any other Social Sciences with Human Resources\/Personnel Management as one of the subjects<br \/>\nJob search<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Professional qualification in CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) or any relevant Professional Human Resource and or Administration qualifications will be an added advantage.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management is an added advantage.<br \/>\n1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Working experience<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0A minimum of Five (5) years\u2019 experience in Human Resources Management at Senior level;<br \/>\nExperience in general Administration roles is an added advantage.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Desired key competencies<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Demonstrable Leadership Skills<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Effective writing, analytical and communication skills;<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Excellent interpersonal skills;
