\nPURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
\nManage the geographical areas as divided into sectors for effective reaction to alarms and incidents to ensure the safeguarding (prevention\/detection\/Apprehension\/protection) of the Company\u2019s assets (life and property).

\nQUALIFICATIONS:<\/p>\n
Ordinary level Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) or\u00a0above.
\nMust have a valid Tanzanian driving\u00a0license.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n
Minimum of three (3) years of operational security duties in the Mining\u00a0environment.
\nMust have an Experience of (2) + years of Weapon\u00a0handling.<\/p>\n
MAIN OR KEY\u00a0ACCOUNTABILITIES:<\/p>\n
Manage the geographical areas as divided into zones for effective reaction to alarms and incidents to ensure the safeguarding (prevention\/detection\/protection) of the Company\u2019s assets (life and\u00a0property).
\nPerform security patrols of designated areas by vehicle or on foot when\u00a0necessary.
\nObserves the movement of people and equipment within area of\u00a0responsibility.
\nReacts to abnormal \/ suspicious conditions (alarms & incidents) and reports to Control\u00a0room.
\nIdentifies hazards\/ risks that might cause a loss to the company and acts accordingly to rectify the\u00a0situation.
\nIdentify and report all Safety and Health\u00a0hazards.
\nPerform required administration tasks e.g. completion of registers, waybill checks\u00a0etc.
\nAttend disciplinary hearings as per role requirement (complainant,\u00a0witness).
\nCrime scene managed according to set\u00a0procedures.
\nFirearm and ammunition hand and take over gets done\u00a0correctly.
\nAttend toolbox meetings and comply on all safety related\u00a0matters.
\nMonitor and control crime on their area of responsibility through deterrence, Apprehension, and information sharing.
\nCompliance on VPSHR and rule of\u00a0engagement.<\/p>\n
