HSE Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards at the workplace. The\u00a0role focuses on maintaining a safe work environment, reducing environmental impact, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company policies, while promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.<\/p>\n
What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/p>\n
Develop and implement Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) investment plans to align with company goals.
\nMonitor and evaluate the progress and results of HSE investment initiatives to ensure effectiveness and compliance with established objectives.
\nConduct regular safety and environmental risk assessments for manufacturing processes, machinery, and materials.
\nCollaborate with production teams to identify potential safety risks during production, machine operation, and maintenance.
\nEvaluate and improve safety measures for new manufacturing equipment or processes.
\nEnsure compliance with local and international HSE laws, regulations, and standards specific to the manufacturing sector (e.g., OSHA & ISO).
\nOversee the safety of hazardous materials handling and storage (e.g., chemicals, flammables).
\nDevelop and deliver targeted HSE training programs for operators, technicians, and supervisors, including PPE use, machine safety, and hazard communication.
\nPromote a culture of safety awareness through toolbox talks, workshops, and safety campaigns.
\nConduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe practices, equipment, or conditions within manufacturing facilities.
\nMaintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, audits, and training sessions.
\nLead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO-related documentation to ensure compliance with relevant standards in line with Documentation Coordinator.
\nLead internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets certification requirements.
\nPrepare and present monthly HSE performance reports to management, including metrics such as incident rates, safety violations, and environmental KPIs.
\nCreate and manage the annual HSE budget, ensuring alignment with company priorities and regulatory requirements.
\nTrack and analyze budget performance, providing regular updates and recommendations for adjustments as needed.
\nDevelop and deliver comprehensive HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental health, Safety Engineering, or Occupational Health.
\nProven experience in HSE management, budgeting, and ISO standards. At least\u00a03 years working experience preferably in Manufacturing \/construction\u00a0industry.
\nStrong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams.
\nProblem Solving Skills
\nConduct oneself in accordance with Knauf\u2019s code of conduct
\nAdhere to all safety, health and environment regulations.<\/p>\n
