Job title: Senior Officer, International Money Transfer (IMT) & Diaspora

Basic purpose
\nThe job holder is responsible for the IMT business, supporting the Diaspora Desk, IMT Agents Onboarding, and maintaining partner relationships between Equity Bank and IMT Partners (WU, MG, RIA, etc.), whilst working closely with the IMT Manager.
\nMain duties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
Onboard and facilitate IMT Sub-agents with the bank.
\nServe as the main point of contact between the bank and Equity IMT Sub-agents.
\nMaintain a revenue tracker for transactions, volumes, and income.
\nCross-border Agent and Partnership acquiring product training within the branch, agent network, and IMT partners.
\nSupport on Diaspora customer queries, account opening, and CRM.
\nPlan and manage strategies to drive revenue growth in cross-border acquiring and diaspora banking.
\nGenerate leads and call on prospects to drive strategic new business signings.
\nCoordinate marketing activities with the Marketing team and ensure\u00a0ROI.
\nAnticipate market developments, trends, and identify business growth opportunities.
\nEnsure 100% compliance with the Bank\u2019s policies and procedures.
\nOversee to ensure the bank\u2019s corporate image is promoted.
\nStay updated with market intelligence by identifying emerging market trends.
\nEnsure branches and supervisors are well supported for effective and efficient service delivery.
\nPerform any other duty assigned by the bank\u2019s senior management.<\/p>\n
Knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experience
\nKnowledge<\/p>\n
A good understanding of the IMT business and operations.
\nKnowledge of various IMT platforms (WU, MG, RIA, etc.).
\nUnderstanding of diaspora banking products and services.
\nKnowledge of compliance requirements related to international money transfers.
\nStrong understanding of market trends in IMT and diaspora banking.
\nProficiency in CRM systems and revenue tracking tools.
\nComputer proficiency, especially use of MS Excel.<\/p>\n
