{"id":1694,"date":"2025-06-16T10:00:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T10:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/reconciliation-analyst-m-pesa-and-government-integrated-systems-new-at-tef-consult\/"},"modified":"2025-09-14T00:50:07","modified_gmt":"2025-09-14T00:50:07","slug":"reconciliation-analyst-m-pesa-and-government-integrated-systems-new-at-tef-consult","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1694","title":{"rendered":"Reconciliation Analyst \u2013 M-Pesa and Government Integrated Systems New at TEF Consult"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Role Title: Reconciliation Analyst \u2013 M-Pesa and Government Integrated Systems<br \/>\nFunction: IT &amp; Billing<br \/>\nSub-function: Intelligence and Data<br \/>\nReports to: TEF Supervisor\u2019<br \/>\nRole Purpose:<br \/>\nConduct M-Pesa reconciliation, reviewing and resolving discrepancies across all internal and external accounts.<br \/>\nPerform daily reviews of data transmitted to government systems, reconciling and resolving discrepancies efficiently.<br \/>\nCore Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:<br \/>\nProgramming &amp; SQL Knowledge: Proven ability to write and optimize SQL statements.<br \/>\nAttention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy and reconciliation.<br \/>\nExperience: At least two (2) years in the IT field.<br \/>\nData Management: Expertise in working with large datasets in Management Information Systems (MIS) and integrating data sources via API or ETL processes.<br \/>\nData Visualization: Proficiency in platforms such as Power BI.<br \/>\nKey Accountabilities and Responsibilities:<br \/>\nData Reconciliation:<br \/>\nReview data transmitted to government systems daily.<br \/>\nIdentify and resolve discrepancies between source systems and final outputs.<br \/>\nM-Pesa Transactions:<br \/>\nAddress discrepancies in M-Pesa transactions for internal and external accounts.<br \/>\nProvide timely resolutions through communication with third parties and government entities.<br \/>\nReporting:<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain data integrity checks and reconciliation processes.<br \/>\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports.<br \/>\nSystem Management:<br \/>\nOversee operations, administration, and security of systems within the Intelligence and Data division.<br \/>\nImplement Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) for relevant systems.<br \/>\nRequired Qualifications and Skills:<br \/>\nEducation: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.<br \/>\nTechnical Proficiency:<br \/>\nStrong understanding of BI and data warehouse practices.<br \/>\nExpertise in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).<br \/>\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br \/>\nAdaptability: Ability to multitask, prioritize critical tasks, and work well under pressure.<br \/>\nKey Performance Indicators:<br \/>\nM-Pesa Reconciliation: Ensure all authorized transactions are reconciled end-to-end.<br \/>\nGovernment Integrated System: Reconcile transmitted data accurately and resolve discrepancies.<br \/>\nThird-party Management: Maintain effective communication and issue resolution.<br \/>\nSystem Uptime: Ensure consistent operational performance.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
