\nCoca-Cola Kwanza Ltd has an exciting opportunity in Manufacturing Department. We are looking for a talented individual with the relevant skills and experience in Engineering for a Electrical Technician position, which will based in Mbeya. The successful candidate will report directly to the Mechanical Specialist.
\nKey Duties & Responsibilities
\nThe incumbent will be responsible for;
\nProvide support to the shift-based teams during operations.
\nAttends SBT\/SBU meetings and ensures that the previous day\u2019s actions have been actioned
\nAssist shift-based teams with situational problem solving.
\nCoach the shift-based teams on machine operation, machine fault finding and correct responses to machine failure modes.
\nProvide coaching, mentoring and knowledge transfer of machine operation and maintenance to shift based teams.
\nReview SIC\u2019s and address deviations regularly
\nDevelopment of work instructions related to equipment.
\nMonitor and manage performance of equipment.
\nVerify and ensure that machines are running at rated speed
\nPrepare and communicate shift handover reports to ensure production continuity
\nParticipate in Technical meetings and escalate issues that could not be resolved during the shift and follows up to ensure gap closure
\nAbility to stand in for the Production Team Leader where required
\nAbility to work shifts
\nCarry out work during the planned maintenance window in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule issued by the Planner.
\nWhere scheduled work cannot be completed, feed back to the Maintenance Planner for direction. This may involve rescheduling the work or prioritising outstanding work.
\nAssist fellow team members in the execution of their tasks during planned maintenance windows.
\nWhere required, partake in maintenance post-mortems to feedback problems, opportunities and learning\u2019s from maintenance activities.
\nOptimisation of maintenance schedules
\nCoach \/ train Operators on autonomous maintenance tasks
\nReview Line KPI\u2019s to ensure that maintenance work is yielding the right results.
\nPartake in cleaning, lubrication, and inspection in accordance with the maintenance schedule issued by the Maintenance Planner.
\nCarry out routine maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
\nWhere problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance, these must be resolved using the appropriate problem-solving techniques.
\nWhere problems have been uncovered, and it is required to include the work in the planned maintenance schedule, this must be communicated to the maintenance planner.
\nCarry out running repairs on plant and equipment
\nWhen carrying out repairs, assess the problem and determine a course of action.
\nWhere running repairs cannot be carried out, communicates this to the Team Leader \/ Maintenance Planner to ensure the work is planned into the next planned maintenance window.
\nApply the correct problem-solving methodologies to resolve problems
\nAssist \/coach Operators on situational problem solving
\nSolicit support for problems solving or escalate to the Team for direction.
\nWhere required, partake in systemic problem solving.
\nWork in a safe manner always, and to identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected.
\nAdhere to appropriate CCBA policies and procedures.
\nCarry out housekeeping tasks, and apply 5S principles during the execution of duties
\nTrain and coach Operators on asset care and autonomous maintenance practices
\nWhere required; sign-off Operators on autonomous maintenance tasks
\nDevelopment of operational and technical standards and work instructions
\nSkills, Experience & Education
\nThe incumbent should have at least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. Added advantage: Bachelor\u2019s degree in electrical engineering; Qualified electrician and a minimum of 1 year technical and experience in a FMCG environment. Strong communication skills, good leadership qualities, good analytical and problem solving skills, and a demonstrated high level of integrity.
