The person will be responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching of parts, tools, and consumables at the respective Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).<br \/>\nThe role will report to the Warehouse VMI Supervisor and will be based in Geita, Tanzania.<br \/>\nPurpose of the role:<br \/>\nResponsible for supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse by receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching of parts, tools, and consumables. This role ensures inventory accuracy, safe handling of items, and timely delivery of parts and tools to internal and external customers, while maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards.<br \/>\nThe job responsibilities:<br \/>\nReceive, inspect, and record incoming materials, parts, and consumables.<br \/>\nAccurately issue and dispatch materials to customers as per request.<br \/>\nMaintain up-to-date inventory records using warehouse systems (manual or digital).<br \/>\nOrganize and store items in an orderly and accessible manner.<br \/>\nSafely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.<br \/>\nAssist with regular stock counts and inventory audits.<br \/>\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.<br \/>\nSupport emergency or urgent material requests to minimize operational delays.<br \/>\nWork collaboratively with the teams to ensure timely material availability.<br \/>\nSupport organizing and participating in stock take and cycle count at regular intervals.<br \/>\nComply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and work safely to protect yourself and others in the warehouse environment.<br \/>\nEnsure a clean and tidy working environment to aid operational efficiency<br \/>\nQualifications &amp; Experience Requirements<br \/>\nDiploma in Logistics \/ Supply Chain or related qualifications from recognized institution.<br \/>\nMinimum 2-3 Years experience in logistics \/ procurement \/ supply chain operations.<br \/>\nKnowledge and experience with ERP systems (i.e., Aurora)<br \/>\nExperience in handling customer queries and complaints.<br \/>\nPrevious experience and exposure in mining industry and related industries will be an added advantage.<br \/>\nValid Driver\u2019s Licence.<br \/>\nOther Requirements &amp; Competencies<br \/>\nProficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.<br \/>\nStrong numerical and analytical skills.<br \/>\nExceptional attention to detail and a high degree of conscientiousness.<br \/>\nFlexibility, self-reliance, and the ability to work independently as a proactive self-starter.<br \/>\nWhat is in it for you?<br \/>\nWe offer you an interesting role in an international business environment, extraordinary products, great colleagues, and opportunities for your professional development.
