This position is expected to drive the implementation of global and regional people strategies, ensure compliance with local labour laws, and align HR initiatives with business goals. Key responsibilities include talent management, organizational development, employee relations, culture and engagement, workforce planning, and change management. The PCBP collaborates with local HR teams to ensure consistency while adapting to local contexts, fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture across the Region to deliver our Promise.<br \/>\nMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:<br \/>\nTalent Management (25%)<br \/>\nCoordinate implementation of Talent Management strategies; i.e., Talent Assessments, talent development and succession planning at EARO and across Field Offices in line with WV and statutory requirements.<br \/>\nProvide analysed reports on talent management initiatives using multiple sources of People &amp; Culture Information system.<br \/>\nIn liaison with line managers, assess and prioritize staff learning\/training and development needs at the EARO and lead development of appropriate learning and development programs\/solutions.<br \/>\nProvide advice and guidance to EARO Managers on the current development needs of individuals and teams and provide advice on appropriate development activities.<br \/>\nDevelop and maintain working relationships with external service providers on talent management and development.<br \/>\nKeep up-to-date on training and development trends and best practices.<br \/>\nLearning and Development (25%)<br \/>\nFacilitate mutual learning between National Offices within East Africa Region by disseminating best practices in People and Culture.<br \/>\nSupport continuous learning through documentation of successful HR models and practices in East Africa region.<br \/>\nCoordinate Implementation of the Leadership Development Programs across the Region.<br \/>\nIntegrate Learning and Development practices with Performance Management, Talent Management and Leadership Development.<br \/>\nDeliver innovative and relevant learning solutions for regional people managers and NO senior managers using internal and external platforms.<br \/>\nMonitor, evaluate and report at leadership level on progress of implementation and enhancement of leader and manager competency development.<br \/>\nCoordinate region wide 360 leadership surveys to enhance leadership competencies and drive mindset and behaviour change in collaboration with the global leadership development team.<br \/>\nFacilitate the implementation of development activities for identified talent pools to support succession planning in line with the leadership development plans.<br \/>\nDevelop relevant metrics to analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services offered ensuring their relevancy to the overall mission of the organization as well as short- and long-term strategic objectives.<br \/>\nPerformance Management (20%)<br \/>\nPromote a performance culture at the EARO through capacity building of staff\/managers on understanding of the process and methodology(ies).<br \/>\nIn conjunction with line managers and P&amp;C Director, coordinate and ensure timely implementation of the partnering for performance cycle in line with WV policies and procedures.<br \/>\nOversee computation and implementation of merit increase across the Region in line with WV policies, procedures and local laws.<br \/>\nConsolidate and regularly avail performance management information for use in management decision making.<br \/>\nCoordinate implementation of performance consequence management actions at the EARO.<br \/>\nProvide technical guidance on performance management across the Region.<br \/>\nOrganizational Culture and Change Management (10%)<br \/>\nDevelop and coordinate initiatives that support adoption of World Vision\u2019s culture, values and Our Promise mindset and behaviours by leadership and all staff.<br \/>\nCoordinate the implementation of the reward and recognition program at EARO.<br \/>\nProvide technical support in the design and delivery of change management initiatives at the EARO.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement an internal communication strategy so that People and Culture issues are communicated effectively on a regular basis at EARO.<br \/>\nProvide technical support in the review of systems, structures, policies and procedures that enhance a good organisational culture and working environment.<br \/>\nEmployee Relations (10%)<br \/>\nCoordinate timely investigations of grievances and disciplinary issues at EARO and facilitate mediation and inquiries and ensure conclusion and responses to the parties involved.<br \/>\nSensitisation of staff on the code of conduct and alignment.<br \/>\nEnsuring that staff are aware of the reporting protocols in case of grievances.<br \/>\nAct as focal point for reporting and management on allegations at EARO.<br \/>\nSupport to International Assignees (10%)<br \/>\nFacilitate international staff work permit application process, renewal and other related documentation.<br \/>\nMaintain and updated the resident permit database.<br \/>\nKeeping abreast of changes as pertains to resident documents and advising International Assignees accordingly.<br \/>\nWV Point Person with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and immigration on staffing matters.<br \/>\nKNOWLEDGE\/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:<br \/>\nRequired Professional Experience<br \/>\nAt least three years related People &amp; Culture experience in an INGO.<br \/>\nMinimum of at least 5 years\u2019 experience in all areas of P &amp; C management and staff development.<br \/>\nSenior HR generalist with experience of working in a regional\/ global environment.<br \/>\nHas had project administration experience in a global context.<br \/>\nLearning &amp; development facilitation and auditing skills.<br \/>\nKnowledge and\/or experience of implementing talent management, diversity &amp; inclusion programs at major organizations.<br \/>\nDirect experience in facilitating organizational change and P &amp; C interventions.<br \/>\nExperience with work force planning models or systems.<br \/>\nTraining design, delivery &amp; measuring impact skills.<br \/>\nDirect experience in working with multicultural teams.<br \/>\nExcellent oral and written English communication skills.<br \/>\nStrong facilitation and modules development skills.<br \/>\nRequired Education, training, license, registration, and certification<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resource, Psychology, Org. Development or any relevant field.<br \/>\nMaster\u2019s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Org. Leadership or Org.
