This role demands deep technical expertise and proven leadership in large-scale farm management, with a strong focus on irrigation-based agriculture.<br \/>\nKey responsibilities include the day-to-day management of farming operations such as land preparation, cultivation, harrowing, planting, pest and disease control, and harvesting. The Farm Manager will lead a team of agronomists, junior managers, and farm laborers, ensuring coordination, efficiency, and the highest standards of agricultural practices.<br \/>\nA strong emphasis is placed on irrigation agriculture\u2014especially in sunflower farming. The Farm Manager must possess advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, operating, and maintaining irrigation systems, and in applying them effectively for crop yield optimization.<br \/>\nStrategic planning, problem-solving, and financial oversight will also be central to the role. This includes budget planning, cost control, and reporting, as well as finding cost-effective operational solutions that align with company goals.<br \/>\nQualifications:<br \/>\nMinimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale farms of 500\u20131000 acres or more.<br \/>\nProven experience specifically in irrigation agriculture, preferably sunflower farming.<br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Farm Machinery, or a related field.<br \/>\nDeep understanding of Full crop cycle (especially sunflower): cultivation, harrowing, planting, irrigation, and harvesting.<br \/>\nIrrigation systems and water management techniques.<br \/>\nFarm machinery: tractors, discs, and other essential equipment.<br \/>\nTABONO CONSULT LIMITED<br \/>\nStrong financial and market knowledge, including: Agricultural input pricing<br \/>\nStrong strategic mind-set; able to plan ahead and align farm operations with broader company objectives.<br \/>\nFluent in English, both spoken and written.<br \/>\nMust be honest, hardworking, responsible, and highly accountable.<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
