\nProcurement and Logistics Officer (1 Post)
\nJob Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Provide administrative and logistical support to the team to ensure timely completion of activities as per the work plan.
\nEnsure procurement procedures and authorization procedures are followed.
\nMaintain all office assets, their safety, insurance, tracking movements, regular updates of the asset register, and spot checks.
\nHandle travel arrangements for local and international guests and arrange necessary logistics support when required.
\nArrange and collect quotations for purchasing assets and arrange to purchase necessary stationery.
\nAssess and organize logistics in terms of transport requirements, receipt, handling, storage, and distribution of supplies, and establish proper recording systems.
\nEnsure all office facilities and equipment are functional at all times and oversee arranging repairs, replacements, and maintenance.
\nManage correspondence\/letters from outside and supply them to the respective department\/section.
\nEvaluate and select suppliers.
\nPrepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
\nNegotiate contracts and pricing terms.
\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies.
\nReview and analyze purchase requisitions.
\nManage the store to ensure all inventory is in order and record stock in and out.
\nWork with other departments to develop procurement plans.<\/p>\n
Academic Qualification & Experience Requirements:<\/p>\n
Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree in Procurement & Logistics Management.
\nSupplier Relationship Management (SRM).
\nPSPTB Certification is a plus.
\nKnowledge of e-procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, Oracle, Coupa) will be an added advantage.
\nMinimum 2 years of working experience in storekeeping will be an advantage.
\nWell conversant with MS Office package, Excel.<\/p>\n
Remuneration
