Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) is a public gaming regulatory institution which was established under the Gaming Act No. 4 of 2003. Its main functions are to oversee, monitor, and regulate the gaming industry in Tanzania. GBT is seeking qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill the following job positions.

\nAccountant II (1 Post)
\nQualifications:<\/p>\n
Holder of Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in one of the following fields: Accountancy, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration (majoring in Accountancy or Finance) or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
\nMust have CPA (T) or equivalent professional qualifications recognized by NBAA.<\/p>\n
Duties:<\/p>\n
Ensure that all invoices are properly recorded and filed after payments.
\nRecord primary data in the respective journals.
\nMaintain Petty Cash Journals.
\nPrepare accounting schedules as directed by supervisor.
\nManage staff loans and imprests.
\nPrepare bank reconciliation statements.
\nPerform any other duties as may be assigned by supervisor(s).<\/p>\n

\nGeneral Conditions<\/p>\n
The applicant should be a Tanzanian citizen.
\nInterested applicants currently employed in the public service should route their application letter through their respective employer.

\nApplicants must attach certified copies of academic certificates relevant to the respective position.
\nCertificates from foreign examination bodies for Ordinary or Advanced level education should be verified by The National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA).
\nProfessional certificates from foreign universities and other training institutions should be verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) and National Council for Technical Education (NACTE).<\/p>\n
