\nIntroduction to TANROADS
\nTanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is vested with the responsibility of Maintenance and Development of the Trunk and Regional Roads Network in Tanzania Mainland. It is also responsible for conducting Axle Load Control Operations using weighbridge scales.
\nThe Regional Manager TANROADS Morogoro, on behalf of the Chief Executive TANROADS, is looking for qualified and competent Tanzanians to fill vacant posts for the following projects:<\/p>\n
Construction of Kidatu-Ifakara-Lupiro-Malinyi Kilosa Kwa Mpepo-Londo-Lumecha\/Songea (484KM) to bitumen standard under Design and Build; Lot 1: Ifakara-Lupiro-Mtimbira (112KM, Contract No. TRD\/HQ\/1074\/2022\/23).
\nUpgrading of Morogoro (Bigwa)-Mvuha Road (78km) to Bitumen Standard Including Ruvu (64m) & Mvuha (60m) Bridges, Contract No. TRD\/HQ\/1008\/2023\/24.
\nUpgrading of Ifakara-Kihansi Road (124km) to Bitumen Standard, Lot 2: Mbingu-Chita Section (37.5km) Contract No. TRD\/HQ\/1016\/2023\/24.<\/p>\n

\nTANROADS intends to recruit qualified and competent staff to fill vacant posts on specified employment contracts for the aforementioned road projects.
\nPosition Details: Works Inspector \u2013 Drainage\/Structure \u2013 3 Posts
\nEntry Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Holders of a Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
\nMust be registered by ERB as a Graduate Engineer.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Assists to review all structural drawings and reports for conformity to the applicable standard and specification.
\nAssists to review, inspect, and approve all materials and completed works to ensure compliance with technical specification requirements.
\nAssists to prepare mini progress reports with updated cost of drainage works on a daily basis.
\nTo maintain a site diary on a daily basis with the contents and format to be agreed by the Employer.
\nPerform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.<\/p>\n
Terms of Employment:
\nJob recruitment<\/p>\n
Specified Contract for 1 year, renewable depending on the status\/progress of the project.
\nSalary: TANROADS Salary scale with other site allowances as per TANROADS Incentive Policy.<\/p>\n

\nThe extra post for one (1) Inspector \u2013 Drainage\/Structural will be for one of the following projects with the same CVs as per the main project listed above (applicants for these additional projects must state whether they are applying for the Morogoro-Mvuha or Ifakara-Kihansi project):<\/p>\n
