{"id":1860,"date":"2025-07-10T14:02:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-10T14:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/relationship-manager-bancassurance-at-nmb-bank\/"},"modified":"2025-10-17T00:50:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T00:50:08","slug":"relationship-manager-bancassurance-at-nmb-bank","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=1860","title":{"rendered":"Relationship Manager; Bancassurance at NMB Bank"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Relationship Manager; Bancassurance (Fixed Term \u2013 3 Years) (1 Position(s))<br \/>\nJob Location :<br \/>\nSouthern Zone<br \/>\nJob Purpose:<br \/>\nTo drive sales objectives in the zone in line with the Bancassurance strategy through effective coordination of sales and promotion initiatives on general and life products to ensure generation of revenues.<br \/>\nMain Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Responsible for all life and general insurance business in the zone.<br \/>\nMonitor performance of new products and provide quarterly progress report.<br \/>\nConsolidate and prepare monthly, quarterly zonal sales reports on zonal sales performance for General and Life insurance.<br \/>\nResponsible for all life and general insurance claims of the zone and ensure closure within the agreed Turnaround Time (TAT).<br \/>\nDrive zonal strategic plans to ensure the bancassurance budget is met.<br \/>\nManage relationships with customers, branches, and other stakeholders.<br \/>\nResponsible for renewals for all branches in the zone to ensure 80 of business is retained<br \/>\nProactively identify sales prospects and conduct business development activities in the zone.<br \/>\nResponsible for all the obligations of a specified person and Bancassurance Sales Force Executives as described in the Bancassurance regulations with regards to underwriting, claims and customer protection<br \/>\nActively build the capacity of branch sales team especially relationship and Bank officers through ongoing coaching, mentoring and support.<br \/>\nIdentify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts per product.<br \/>\nResponsible for zonal proper underwriting and issuing of quotations when needed from the Bancassurance system.<br \/>\nProvide technical support to the branches including issues related to the Bancassurance System.<br \/>\nWork with HQ teams to drive sales and promotional campaigns across the zone in line with the Bank\u2019s policies and procedures.<br \/>\nIdentify issues and resolve them timely and proactively<br \/>\nResponsible for all customer complaints regarding General &amp; Life business for prompt solutions.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance to bancassurance regulations in all branches in the zone.<br \/>\nEnsure that structured sales drives are embedded in the branches\u2019 activities.<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n<p>A comprehensive knowledge of general insurance and life products<br \/>\nKnowledge on banks products<br \/>\nA good understanding of legislation related to bancassurance and channel delivery<br \/>\nGreater understanding of product life cycle<br \/>\nA comprehensive knowledge on insurance claims<br \/>\nStrong analytical and numerical skills<br \/>\nGood interpersonal and networking skills<br \/>\nStrong analytical and numerical skills<br \/>\nGood interpersonal and networking skills<br \/>\nGood marketing skills<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Insurance business and Risk management.<br \/>\nCertification or training in risk management and insurance business is a must for other business-related fields.<br \/>\nA minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in insurance business with a reputable company.NMB Bank Plc is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
