\nMEL Framework Development<\/p>\n
Support the refinement and rollout of Silverleaf\u2019s impact measurement framework
\nAlign MEL tools and indicators with the organization\u2019s strategic goals and program outcomes
\nMap existing data sources and identify gaps in outcome tracking<\/p>\n
Data Management & Analysis<\/p>\n
Develop or improve tools for collecting, managing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
\nClean, validate, and analyze data on student learning outcomes, teacher performance, and school quality
\nGenerate periodic reports and dashboards to share insights across teams<\/p>\n
Learning & Strategy Support<\/p>\n
Lead internal reflection sessions to support learning from data
\nTranslate findings into practical insights for program improvement and strategic decisions
\nSupport leadership in responding to learning priorities and evidence gaps<\/p>\n

Support baseline, midline, and endline studies, including tool design, data collection oversight, and analysis
\nHelp prepare high-quality MEL reports for donors, board members, and other stakeholders
\nAssist with data visualization and communication of impact stories<\/p>\n
Capacity Building<\/p>\n
Train staff on MEL tools, frameworks, and data literacy
\nStrengthen a culture of evidence-based decision-making across departments<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience
\nRequired<\/p>\n
3+ years of experience in MEL, data analysis, or impact evaluation in a nonprofit or education setting
\nAdvanced Excel and data visualization skills; experience with Google Sheets, Power BI, or similar tools
\nStrong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
\nExcellent written communication and report-writing skills in English
\nStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data streams
\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment<\/p>\n
Preferred<\/p>\n
Experience in the education sector or working with school-based data
\nExperience designing or implementing MEL frameworks for multi-site organizations
\nFamiliarity with data collection platforms (e.g. KoboToolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO)
\nPrevious experience in East Africa or a similar context<\/p>\n
