\nJob description:The Internal Auditor provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve Onfon Microfinance\u2019s operations. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards including Bank of Tanzania (BoT) guidelines, and supports effective risk management and control systems.
\nKey responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Conduct fraud investigations or audits and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.<\/p>\n
Prepare and implement business cases regarding BoT regulations.<\/p>\n
Attend client audits to respond to queries related to assigned compliance programs.<\/p>\n
Respond to and review customer journey and security questionnaires.<\/p>\n
Present audit findings, risk exposures, and internal control weaknesses to the Head of Finance.

Required qualifications:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/p>\n
Certification in Internal Auditing (CIA), CPA, or equivalent preferred.<\/p>\n
Knowledge of microfinance operations and BoT regulatory framework.<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3 years experience in an auditing firm.<\/p>\n
