Job Description
\nCoca-Cola Kwanza Ltd has an exciting opportunities in Logistics department. We are looking for talented individuals with relevant skills and experience in Distribution for Dristribution Driver positions. The successful candidates will directly report to the respective Distribution Team Leader.<\/p>\n
Key Duties & Responsibilities
\nThe incumbent will be responsible for<\/p>\n
Hauling of bulk stock (Primary Distribution) between Manufacturing Plants and Distribution Centres \/ Local Distribution Partners and OCCD\u2019s
\nDelivery of stock (Secondary Distribution) to Direct Delivery customers and OCCD\u2019s
\nProviding professional and efficient customer service to the internal and external customers
\nConducting and Compile necessary invoicing to ensure that all delivery documents are correct and checked.
\nTake full accountability of \u00a0the allocated truck, Mobile device, stock and pallets on truck
\nCo-coordinating and receiving customer invoices.
\nPerform daily stock counts in an accurate and prompt manner.
\nComply with security checks and procedures
\nManagement and supervision of the crew on the truck
\nAbide by the traffic laws and regulations of the country
\nComply with company safety standards and ensures no fatality
\nSettlement of loads after every delivery<\/p>\n
Skills, Experience & Education
\nThe incumbent should have at least a Ordinary Level of Education (Completed Form Four). Three years practical relevant experience preferably with FMCG, computer literate, flexible team player and team builder, assertive and persuasive, and demonstrate high integrity.
\nThe incumbent should also posses;<\/p>\n
Form IV secondary education
\nValid \u00a0and applicable drivers licence
\nValid Professional Drivers Permit (Country Specific)
\nPrior distribution driving experience
\n\u00a0Awareness of logistics processes and understanding of inter-relationships between distribution and warehouse processes
\nMechanical knowledge and understanding required to keep vehicles under their control in a safe and operational condition according to the company and legal standards
\nEquipment handling knowledge and Truck and Stock asset care
\nUnderstanding of key performance indicators within Distribution that impact on internal and external customers
\nUnderstanding of distribution route planning and optimisation systems
\nUnderstanding of satellite tracking systems and associated systems such as Cab, dash and other vehicle security cameras<\/p>\n
