As Security Manager you will be responsible for monitoring the security operations for dnata Zanzibar. You will implement security policies, regulations, rules, and norms and make sure that the environment in their organization is safe for employers and visitors.<br \/>\nIn this role, you will:<br \/>\nOversee and manage the security department to ensure the safe and cost-effective handling of flights and security service offerings.<br \/>\nDevelop and implement aviation security plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.<br \/>\nDevelop the functional strategy for the security Operations and ensures it is cascaded down to all employees across the business.<br \/>\nDevelop security policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.<br \/>\nLead security personnel, providing guidance, training, and supervision to ensure effective security operations.<br \/>\nManage and supervise security staff, including training, scheduling and performance evaluation.<br \/>\nEnsure ongoing training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of security staff in areas such as threat recognition, crisis management, and customer service.<br \/>\nOversee the execution of security measures, including access control, screening procedures, and security patrols, to safeguard aviation facilities, personnel, and assets.<br \/>\nEnsure compliance with aviation security regulations, standards, and directives issued by relevant authorities, such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and national aviation authorities.<br \/>\nPrepare and present security reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies.<br \/>\nEnsure strategic planning, strong leadership, and hands-on execution to maintain a high level of security and safety within the organisation.<br \/>\nQualification<br \/>\nTo be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:<br \/>\nMinimum Graduate level of education equivalent.<br \/>\n5+ years of experience in same field.<br \/>\nFluency in spoken and written English.<br \/>\nAble to work independently as front-line supervisor, leadership qualities are essential.<br \/>\nMust have good interpersonal skills, pleasant personality and sound good health.<br \/>\nMust have completed relevant and recognized professional courses.<br \/>\nYou\u2019ll have an edge if you have:<br \/>\nFluency in Swahili.<br \/>\nRight to live &amp; work in Zanzibar<br \/>\nAt dnata, part of Emirates Group, we\u2019re committed to providing our employees with opportunities to grow and develop in their careers.
