\nResponsibilities\u00a0<\/p>\n
Understand and manage identified risks in the work area.
\nMinimize risks related to personnel and equipment during operations.
\nMaintain Working area Housekeeping all the time
\nInspect head gear and clean the tipping area accordingly
\nReceive, record and dispatch all information as required
\nDo proper Shifts handover, reporting and paperwork as required.
\nAssist loading and Offloading Materials in the cage
\nAssist on winder major jobs such as rope backends, front end and conveyance replacement
\nControl Cage movement, number of people loaded in the cage according to the requirements
\nLoading and Send Materials to underground in cooperation with cage tender
\nManage and maintain daily pre-start checklists for the Rock breaker; report any deviations promptly.
\nControl Ore and Waste tipping on the pass, Counting and record tipping
\nDo Prestart to all rock breakers in the required pass
\nOpen and close fingure raise chain press as per tipping and hoisting instruction
\nProvide support during equipment breakdowns to restore operations efficiently.
\nUnderstand and operate underground portable water systems.
\nMonitor and maintain dam levels and report any abnormalities.
\nPrepare conveyance systems for shaft examinations and necessary repairs.
\nMonitor the cascade water system and ensure it functions correctly.<\/p>\n

Ordinary secondary education
\nMining Certificate or equivalent from reputed institution will be an added advantage
\nConveyor Belt, Rock Breaker, Cage Operation certificate will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
Skills \/ Knowledge Requirements:<\/p>\n
Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in similar industry (underground)
\nExcellent verbal\/written communication skills
\nStrong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsible manner
\nExcellent collaboration skills, time management and problem-solving abilities
\nBasic understanding of mining processes and equipment
\nExperience in shaft operating operation is added advantage<\/p>\n
