\nFema Mining and Drilling Limited is seeking three (3) skilled and safety-conscious Bus Drivers to join our team in Katoro \u2013 Geita, Tanzania. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting employees and materials to and from mining sites, ensuring timely and efficient operations while adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Safely operate company buses to transport employees, contractors, and materials to and from designated mining sites and other locations as required.
\nPerform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to the maintenance team.
\nAdhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
\nMaintain a clean and organized bus interior, ensuring a comfortable environment for passengers.
\nFollow assigned routes and schedules, ensuring punctual arrivals and departures.
\nAssist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety and comfort.
\nMaintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents.
\nCommunicate effectively with the Project Supervisor and other team members to coordinate schedules and address any operational issues.
\nRespond calmly and professionally to emergencies or unexpected situations, following company protocols.
\nParticipate in safety training and briefings as required by the company.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications and Requirements<\/p>\n
Valid Tanzanian driver\u2019s license (Class D or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
\nMinimum of 3 years of experience as a professional bus driver, preferably in a mining or industrial environment.
\nValid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license or endorsement.
\nStrong knowledge of Tanzanian traffic regulations and road safety practices.
\nAbility to operate and maneuver large vehicles in challenging environments, including rural and mining site roads.
\nExcellent time management skills to adhere to strict schedules.
\nGood physical health and stamina to handle long driving hours and assist passengers as needed.
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with passengers and team members.
\nAbility to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
\nBasic mechanical knowledge to identify and report vehicle issues is an added advantage.
\nFluency in Swahili; basic proficiency in English is preferred.
\nWillingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
