For more information, visit www.JubileeInsurance.com.<br \/>\nWe currently have an exciting career opportunity for the role of\u00a0Infrastructure Engineer\u00a0at\u00a0Jubilee Life Insurance Corporation of Tanzania.<br \/>\nRole Purpose:<br \/>\nThe Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for maintaining and managing an organization\u2019s computer systems and networks.<br \/>\nMain Responsibilities<br \/>\nOperational<br \/>\n1. Administer &amp; support Office 365 suite configurations and policies, including analysis, troubleshooting, and delivery of Microsoft cloud solutions on Azure and Office 365 platforms.<br \/>\n2. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the network\u2019s high availability, reliability, and security.<br \/>\n3. Azure Active Directory and Group Policy configuration, support, and maintenance to ensure reliability, availability, and optimum performance.<br \/>\n4. Design, configure, and maintain the organization\u2019s network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity.<br \/>\n5. Manage network equipment procurement, vendor relationships, and service-level agreements.<br \/>\n6. Design a scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.<br \/>\n7. Ensure cloud environments meet security standards and compliance requirements.<br \/>\n8. Provide support for cloud-related incidents and outages.<br \/>\n9. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the head of the department.<br \/>\nTechnical Skills<br \/>\n1. TCP\/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Subnetting, Routing and Switching, Firewall Configuration.<br \/>\n2. Network Hardware: Routers, switches, firewalls, access points, network cabling.<br \/>\n3. Server Management: Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux.<br \/>\n4. Cloud Services: Understanding of Azure services (VMs, Azure AD, App Services, Storage, Networking, etc.)<br \/>\n5. Monitoring &amp; Security: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Security Center, Defender for Cloud.<br \/>\n6. Networking: VNETs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers.<br \/>\n7. Containers &amp; Orchestration: Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker.<br \/>\nLeadership &amp; Culture<br \/>\n1. Fostering a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and good retail citizenship while maintaining a conducive work environment.<br \/>\n2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive company culture.<br \/>\n3. Communicate needs (i.e., resources, tools, training support) to supervisors to ensure personal and team success.<br \/>\nQualification &amp; Requirements:<br \/>\n\u00b7 Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognized University<br \/>\n\u00b7 Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) \/ Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Network Administration Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are preferred.<br \/>\n\u00b7 3+ Years hands-on experience in Networking\/System Administration\/Azure Administration.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Knowledge of Labor Laws and Regulations<br \/>\n\u00b7 High level of integrity and professionalism<br \/>\n\u00b7 Strong Problem-Solving skills and attention to detail<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
