\nPosition purpose:
\nThis position is responsible for handling essential plumbing installations, conduct repairs, and ensure all plumbing systems operate smoothly as guided by your immediate supervisor and trainer.
\nDuties and responsibilities<\/p>\n
A strong Safety focus and ability to ensure a safe workplace through daily inspections and rectification of hazards.
\nComplies with all company policies and procedures that are displayed and amended from time to time.
\nTakes reasonable care for their own safety and that of other persons who may be affected by their acts.
\nInstall, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in AUMS Geofields offices and AUMS Geofields camps buildings.
\nPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, finding the source of leaks and blockages, fixing or replacing broken parts and testing the plumbing system.
\nPerform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems.
\nCarries out all repairs in accordance with AUMS Geofields procedures.
\nAlways maintains a high level of housekeeping in the working areas.
\nReport all faults to the Supervisor ASAP.
\nWilling to assist in other areas when required as directed by supervisor.<\/p>\n
Essential requirements<\/p>\n
At least three years of trade experience as a plumber.
\nRecognised trade qualification as a plumber.
\nStrong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply and drainage.
\nExcellent service and maintenance approach to the job.
\nWillingness to learn to improve skills and gain further experience in mining.
\nValid Driver\u2019s License.
\nAbove average numeracy and verbal\/written English
\nAbility to work under pressure.
\nBasic First Aid Knowledge.<\/p>\n
