{"id":2022,"date":"2025-07-31T08:00:26","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T08:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/job\/hemm-electrician-at-dangote\/"},"modified":"2025-10-17T00:50:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-17T00:50:08","slug":"hemm-electrician-at-dangote","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/tanzania\/?post_type=job_listing&p=2022","title":{"rendered":"HEMM Electrician at Dangote"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary<br \/>\nResponsible for repairs\/maintenance of heavy equipment electrical system and components according to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) recommendations and to ensure safety at all times on heavy mobile plant.<br \/>\nKey Duties and Responsibilities<br \/>\nCarry out daily\/periodical\/planned\/preventive maintenance\/major repairs\/overhauls\/running and breakdown maintenance with respect to auto \u2013electrical systems such as starter motors, alternator, battery, electronics and instrumentation of heavy-duty machineries in accordance with manufacturer\u2019s guidelines\/recommendations\/ safe operating procedures to ensure optimum utilization and availability.<br \/>\nMaintain the auto-electrician daily check sheet report, spare parts consumption reports according to supervisors as per job requirements<br \/>\nTo ensure consistent availability of HEMM for operation without any interruption with regards to auto-electrical system.<br \/>\nTo ensure proper housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.<br \/>\nTo give adequate on-the-job training to junior technicians\/helpers in order to develop them professionally.<br \/>\nTo diagnose the problems on auto-electrical, electronics and instrumentation systems and rectify same.<br \/>\nTo use all the PPE as recommended by the safety policy of the company and report to the authorities concerned regarding the accidents\/near miss\/incident.<br \/>\nProper handling of tools provided them and to ensure their proper usage.<br \/>\nTo suggest and implement the recent\/latest maintenance practices<br \/>\nPerform any other duties as may be assigned by Senior<br \/>\nLatest job postings<br \/>\nRequirements<br \/>\nAcademic\/Professional Qualifications.<br \/>\nFull Technician Course (FTC) or equivalent with more than 5 years\u2019 working experience in heavy mobile equipment.<br \/>\nSkills and Competencies.<br \/>\nGood knowledge of Electrical\/electronic controls troubleshooting.<br \/>\nGood knowledge of mining operations, maintenance practices, health and safety management.<br \/>\nGood communication skills.<br \/>\nGood understanding in wiring diagrams, wiring harness and diagnostic codes.<br \/>\nGood and understand how to use various diagnostic tools eg.
