This role plays a key part in improving employee satisfaction and promoting fair and consistent treatment across AKHST.<br \/>\nThe role also will support other HR functions as well as HR operations on day-to-day basis.<br \/>\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n<p>Serve as the first point of contact for employees and Management team regarding workplace concerns, grievances, and conflicts.<br \/>\nHe\/ She provides guidance to the management and staff on employee relations policies, procedures, Labour laws and best practices.<br \/>\nResponsible for investigating complaints, incidents, or allegations of misconduct, and recommend appropriate action in line with labor laws and AKHST policies.<br \/>\nAssist in promoting and implementing employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.<br \/>\nMonitor employee satisfaction and coordinates annual staff satisfaction surveys and support initiatives to improve workplace morale and productivity.<br \/>\nPrepare and maintain accurate documentation related to employee relations cases, investigations, and disciplinary actions.<br \/>\nEnsure timely filling of all generated HR records in personal files and electronic system.<br \/>\nConduct Exit-interviews and analyze trends to recommend improvements to reduce turnover.<br \/>\nSupport in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.<br \/>\nEnsure organizational compliance with local labor laws, workplace policies, and applicable regulations.<br \/>\nAssist with conflict resolution and provide mediation between employees or between employees and Managers.<br \/>\nAssist in training Line Managers on handling employee relations issues effectively and lawfully.<br \/>\nEnsuring that all relevant employee information is obtained and secured within employees\u2019 personnel files and are submitted for inputs in the HRIS.<br \/>\nTake active role in ensuring timely completion of employee Probationary, Performance Improvement Plans (PIP)and Annual Performance Evaluations.<br \/>\nLiaising closely with OHCs Administrative Officers, Finance, and IT Department to ensure payroll is timely processed in all agreed employee compensation, including any approved Salary Adjustments<br \/>\nAssisting in Recruitment and Selection activities for full time staff, Visiting Consultants, LOCUMS, Volunteers, etc.<br \/>\nEnsure that all Job Descriptions and related employment agreements are current and maintained for all new and existing employees.<br \/>\nManage employees\u2019 (both full-time and non-full time) contracts to ensure that they are current and renewed timely.<br \/>\nEnsure that all letters and other correspondence are correct, signed and sent out on time.<br \/>\nActively take role in all HR audits which include JCIA, Safe Care and other statutory audits.<br \/>\nProviding the required reports timely for decision making purposes.<br \/>\nAssist in ensuring all clinical staff have valid practicing licenses and are registered in accordance with the relevant bodies.<br \/>\nCoordinates CEO forums on quarterly bases and any other staff engagement initiatives.<br \/>\nAny other roles assigned by the Supervisor or His\/ Her Designee.<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment<br \/>\nACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES<br \/>\n\u00b7 Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree in human resources management, Industrial Relations or related fields<br \/>\n\u00b7 Minimum of Five (5) years\u2019 experience in Human Resource field from reputable organization.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment standards, and HR best practices.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity<br \/>\n\u00b7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.<br \/>\n\u00b7 High level of emotional intelligence and empathy.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Sound judgment and decision-making skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications<br \/>\nSharing is Caring!
