\nPosition: Human Resource Officer \u2013 Learning and Development
\nReports to: Human Resource Business Partner
\nPosition Type: Staff Position
\nJob Location: Arusha, Tanzania
\nObjective of the Role:\u00a0Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the training and development programs, to build employee skills and organizational capability. In addition to learning and development, the role will support other HR functions as assigned by management.
\nMain responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Plan, coordinate, and deliver training and development programs, including compliance, induction, and skills enhancement initiatives.
\nPrepare and manage the annual training calendar in consultation with HR Business Partner.
\nMonitor and evaluate training effectiveness, ensuring measurable return on investment.
\nMaintain training records, contracts, attendance, and reporting documentation.
\nEnsure adherence to company hygiene & safety protocols.
\nSupport and execute other HR responsibilities as assigned by management.<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills:<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related Social Science field.
\nMinimum of 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience in Learning & Development or broader HR functions.
\nExperience in coordinating training programs or employee development initiatives.
\nExcellent communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
\nAbility to design and deliver engaging training sessions.
\nAnalytical skills to evaluate training effectiveness and return on investment.
\nStrong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic HR information systems.<\/p>\n
