\nRole Purpose
\nWe seek a highly qualified Finance Manager who is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead our financial operations. This pivotal role will oversee planning, reporting, compliance, and strategic analysis to support the company\u2019s growth in mortgage financing.
\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Preparation of financial statements and management accounts for internal and external stakeholders.
\nLead preparation of budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and mortgage-specific financial modeling.
\nConduct variance and trend analysis with actionable insights to guide leadership decisions.
\nEnsure robust compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, including coordination with auditors and regulatory bodies.
\nOptimize financial processes\u2014closing procedures, reporting workflows, and internal controls tailored to mortgage operations.
\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the institution\u2019s stability.
\nEvaluate investment opportunities, balancing risk and return to support growth and financial stability.
\nMentor and develop finance team members, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
\nCommunicate financial insights clearly to management and cross-departmental teams.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Skills<\/p>\n
CPA (Tanzania) qualification is mandatory.
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master\u2019s degree or MBA is an advantage.
\nMinimum 5-10 years of progressive financial management experience\u2014preferably in mortgage finance, banking, or financial services.
\nProficiency with financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, ERP platforms) and advanced skills in Excel.
\nStrong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities, with attention to detail and ethical insight.<\/p>\n
