In Tanzania it was officially established on 2005 and our efforts work towards creating environment where children\u2019s rights are protected and sustainable development of communities through empowerment, leadership and ownership.<br \/>\nGood Neighbors Tanzania is looking for individuals to join our highly motivated team in the following role;<br \/>\nPosition:\u00a0Project Manager<br \/>\nReports to:\u00a0Country Director<br \/>\nLocation:\u00a0\u00a0Songwe Project Office, Mbozi District in Songwe Region<br \/>\nContract Duration:\u00a0Sept-Dec, 2025, renewable by annual basis subject to performance, mutual agreement or\/and funding availability.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe Project Manager will be responsible for direction, management, and oversight of all aspects of the KOICA Project \u201cSecuring Economic Safety Nets for Maize Farmers through a Grain Network of Cooperatives in the Southern Border Region of Tanzania (Songwe)\u201d, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed according to organization needs and communities in general. He\/she will be involved in operations, communications, planning programs, Design, and Monitoring and Evaluation (DME) as well as staff management, mentorship, and development.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Supervision of the KOICA Project which includes;<\/p>\n<p>Day to day directions and monitoring of progress of work.<br \/>\nEnsure office annual plans, job description and team individual plans are set annually and followed for implementation<br \/>\nAssist on staff planning and recruitment based on office needs.<br \/>\nConduct staff performance evaluations according to organization schedules, requirements and procedures and support management in making decisions following performance results.<br \/>\nConduct weekly office meetings and assess status and progress of work.<br \/>\nPrepare, check, review and approve reports, staff applications, work plans, BRQs, FSS and other documents within the department, ensuring accuracy, quality, donor compliance and timely submission.<br \/>\nEnsure operation of the KOICA team, procedures and systems are efficient and implemented based on organization needs and requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Ensure that all KOICA teams act as an efficient and client-oriented for program and project implementation activities.<br \/>\nOversee endline study for the project.<br \/>\nCoordinate and establish partnership with stakeholders including government and other relevant organizations in the community.<br \/>\nReview and consolidate, and submit thematic\/periodic reports, annual action plans (including Log frame, working budget plan, and yearly action plan) and activity plan of the Project.<br \/>\nPlanning, Implementing, and finalizing procedures and projects construction works including two storages\/warehouses.<br \/>\nOrganizing meetings with the community, AMCOS, and other stakeholders relating to the project activities.<br \/>\nPlan, execute and manage project development from beginning to end.<br \/>\nLiaison with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.<br \/>\nDevelop network and partnership with national\/regional\/international institutions, keeping abreast of environmental, economic, social, political and religious conditions in the country.<br \/>\nAny other duties as may be required.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nQualifications:\u00a0 Education\/Knowledge\/Technical Skills and Experience<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Social Studies, Community Development, or related field.<br \/>\nMinimum 8 years of experience in community development projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.<br \/>\nStrong skills in project management, budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.<br \/>\nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.<br \/>\nProficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nOther Competencies\/Attributes:<\/p>\n<p>Ability to multitask and work under pressure.<br \/>\nStrong organizational and motivational skills.<br \/>\nFlexibility, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity.<br \/>\nCommitment to community development and beneficiary-focused approaches.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>\nApplication Instructions:<\/p>\n<p>All interested candidates, who meet the above requirements, please\u00a0Click here\u00a0to apply<br \/>\nfor the position on or before 27th August, 2025.<br \/>\nWhen applying please attach detailed curriculum vitae containing complete names and addresses (postal, email, phone), together with names and contact details of three referees.<br \/>\nAll applications should be addressed to Country Director, Good Neighbors Tanzania, P.O.
