\nA successful Security Team Lead is responsible in carrying out the appropriate defined security processes and procedures in accordance with company policies and values.
\nDuties\/ Responsibilities<\/p>\n
To ensure knowledge and understanding of all appropriate security responsibilities as detailed in job description and other relevant policy documents.
\nTo ensure that standards set at security training courses are adhered to. To ensure a knowledge and understanding of all appropriate security responsibilities
\nTo advise the Security Supervisor of any security occurrence or system failure and to identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting security.
\nPerform duties in a manner that supports both the team and individual\u2019s performance.
\nPerform duties in accordance with training provided and departmental procedures.
\nCarry out appropriate facility inspections in accordance with departmental procedures.
\nCarry out patrols and searches in accordance with departmental procedures.
\nMaintain, operate and test security equipment in accordance with and at intervals prescribed in relevant departmental instructions and highlight or act upon any equipment failures or performance deterioration in accordance with departmental instructions.
\nProvide a high standard of customer service always acting in a professional manner, in line with the Customer Service Commitment
\nKeep appropriate records as required by departmental procedures.
\nPerforming any other tasks as assigned related to organization<\/p>\n

Ensure that safety briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is a risk exposure, role model safe behaviors and follows corrective actions.

\nJob Specific skills\/ Requirements

Advanced Secondary School Certificate or Diploma holder
\nNo criminal records.
\nValid Aviation Security Certificate is mandatory.
\nNot less than 2 years\u2019 experience in Aviation Security.
\nDangerous good training\/knowledge will be added advantage.
\nGood communication and interpersonal skills to work with various levels of management an external\/internal customer<\/p>\n
