Driven by a core strategic mandate for research, training, and services, the Institute\u2019s work now spans a wide spectrum, covering biomedical and ecological sciences, intervention studies, health-systems research, service delivery, and policy translation.<br \/>\nJob Summary<br \/>\nPosition: Field Worker (8 Posts)<br \/>\nReports To: Principal Investigator<br \/>\nWork Station: Dar es Salaam<br \/>\nApply By: 30 August 2025<br \/>\nIfakara Health Institute seeks a qualified Field Worker who will work with the Sub-TB project to follow up participants at the clinic and their home place.<br \/>\nDuties and Responsibilities<br \/>\nFollow up household members of the patients at their home place.<br \/>\nTake samples (blood and sputum) of the participants.<br \/>\nReconsent participants.<br \/>\nIdentify and manage adverse and severe adverse events.<br \/>\nContribute to the initial development of SOPs.<br \/>\nQualification and Experience<br \/>\nDiploma\/Certificate in nursing, laboratory, or medicine.<br \/>\nExperience in research.<br \/>\nExperience in riding a motorbike.<br \/>\nSkills and Competencies<br \/>\nPatient management skills.<br \/>\nComputer skills.<br \/>\nGood interpersonal and communication skills.<br \/>\nRemuneration<br \/>\nAn attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates as per IHI salary scales.<br \/>\nEqual Opportunity<br \/>\nIHI is an equal opportunity employer.
