\nPosition Overview
\nWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated\u00a0People & Culture Officer\u00a0to support the organisation in building a strong workplace culture, ensuring smooth HR operations, and enhancing employee engagement. The role requires someone who is both proactive and approachable \u2014 able to foster trust with staff while managing HR processes effectively.
\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and policy implementation while supporting the organisation\u2019s mission to create a positive and engaging work environment.
\nKey Responsibilities 1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding<\/p>\n
Support recruitment efforts to attract qualified candidates.
\nManage the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees.
\nEnsure contracts and employee records are accurate and up to date.<\/p>\n
Employee Engagement & Culture<\/p>\n
Drive initiatives to keep employees motivated and engaged.
\nSupport in organising team-building and staff welfare activities.
\nPromote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations & Compliance<\/p>\n
Handle day-to-day HR queries and provide guidance to staff.
\nSupport disciplinary processes in line with company policies and labour laws.
\nReview and update HR policies and procedures where necessary.<\/p>\n
HR Operations & Administration<\/p>\n
Maintain employee files, benefits, and HR systems.
\nEnsure compliance with Tanzanian labour laws and workplace standards.
\nPrepare HR-related reports and updates for management.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications & Competencies<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
\n2\u20134 years of proven HR experience\u00a0in a similar role.
\nStrong knowledge of Tanzanian labour laws and HR best practices.
\nExperience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally.
\nVibrant, approachable, and capable of managing a dynamic workforce.<\/p>\n
