Below are the details for the role, including qualifications, responsibilities, required skills, and application information.<br \/>\nPosition: DCS Operator<br \/>\nQualifications and Experience<\/p>\n<p>0-3 years of combined field experience in power supply operations.<br \/>\nMinimum VETA Certification, maximum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.<\/p>\n<p>Roles and Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>Manage shift operations and ensure safe operation of DCS panel and boiler.<br \/>\nTroubleshoot issues and handle emergencies.<br \/>\nMonitor coal, ash, and water levels; take timely actions.<br \/>\nCoordinate with operators for minor maintenance.<br \/>\nEnsure environmental compliance during shifts.<br \/>\nPlan load management and stoppages.<br \/>\nPerform routine checks and report status.<br \/>\nMaintain shift logs and record operational changes.<\/p>\n<p>Required Skills<\/p>\n<p>Skilled in major boiler and turbine repairs.<br \/>\nExperienced in AFBC boiler startups (cold and hot) from DCS and field.<br \/>\nAble to handle operational emergencies (blackouts, system failures, load issues).<br \/>\nCapable of managing breakdowns (bed coil puncture, replacement, hydro testing).<br \/>\nKnowledgeable in boiler and DCS troubleshooting.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
