\nThe Human Resources Office of Daqing Oilfield Constructions Group Company Limited (DOCG) informs all Tanzanians with the following qualifications and who are ready to work at the Marine Storage Terminal Project (MST) at Chongoleani to apply.
\nPosition \u2013 Electricians (08 post)
\nQualifications:\u00a0
\nMust be a Tanzanian National.<\/p>\n
VETA Certificate in Electrical Installation \/ Electrical Engineering (minimum Grade I, II, or III depending on role level)
\nTrade Test Certificate (recognized by Tanzania\u2019s Ministry of Labour, Youth, Employment & Persons with Disability)
\nOrdinary Diploma or FTC (Full Technician Certificate) in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not mandatory for senior roles)
\n5+ years\u2019 hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on industrial or construction projects
\nAbility to interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals
\nFamiliarity with Tanzania\u2019s Electrical Installation Regulations and EWURA standards
\nValid EWURA Electrical Installation License (mandatory \u2013 no application will be considered without it)<\/p>\n
Responsibilities: \u2013<\/p>\n
Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with EWURA regulations and company standards.
\nEnsure safe operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in line with OSHA Tanzania safety guidelines.
\nTroubleshoot and repair electrical faults, malfunctions, and breakdowns quickly and effectively.
\nRead, understand, and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
\nCarry out testing, calibration, and inspection of electrical systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
\nPrepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and records.
\nCoordinate with supervisors and project engineers to ensure work is executed according to project schedules.
\nInstall and maintain power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems in industrial and construction environments.
\nImplement strict health, safety, and environmental practices in daily operations.
\nProvide technical guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices.<\/p>\n
Duration
\nThe Contract shall be for a specific time period for the task.
\nPlace of Work & Residency
\nThe place of work for this position shall be Chongoleani ward in Tanga city, Daqing Oilfield Constructions Group Company Limited (DOCG) will provide food and camp accommodations in our temporary facilities for these positions.It is mandatory for individual selected for this position to utilize the camp accommodations.
