\nReporting to Commercial Sales Manager, the Medical Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing, verifying, and ensuring seamless coordination of primary and secondary sales activities within the commercial department. This role will enforce accountability, real-time field reporting, and consistent stock movement tracking between Marie Stopes, distributors, sales representatives, wholesalers, and retailers. The supervisor will play a critical role in achieving transparency, optimizing sales performance, and ensuring efficient execution of field activities in alignment with commercial targets and compliance requirements.
\nAmong the Key Responsibilities:
\nKey responsibility 1: Primary Sales Oversight (Marie Stopes to Distributors)
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Monitor all distributors purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely documentation, invoicing, and delivery.
\nCoordinate with sales reps and distributors to ensure the alignment of physical stock movement with system records.
\nVerify stock issuance and confirm delivery and receipts between Marie Stopes and distributor networks.
\nMaintain a central sales dashboard to track performance by distributor, product, region, and period.<\/p>\n

\nKey responsibility 2: Secondary Sales Oversight (Distributor to Retail\/Wholesaler)<\/p>\n
Supervise sales representatives\u2019 distribution field to wholesalers and retailers.
\nVerify secondary sales reports submitted by reps against distributor records.
\nConduct physical spot-checks and retail outlet visits to ensure sales authenticity and product visibility.
\nMonitor sales rep route plans, outlet coverage, and adherence to territory mapping.<\/p>\n
Key responsibility 3: Sales Data Management & Reporting<\/p>\n
Maintain integrated reporting mechanisms for primary and secondary sales data.
\nEnsure weekly updates of sales performance dashboards and variance reports.
\nIdentify sales gaps, bottlenecks, or suspicious patterns and recommend corrective actions.<\/p>\n
Key responsibility 4: Compliance & Quality Control
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Enforce compliance to product storage and handling standards at every stage.
\nEnsure all activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal protocols.
\nAssist in training and refresher sessions for sales reps and distributors.<\/p>\n
Key responsibility 5: Stakeholder Collaboration
\n\u00a0<\/p>\n
Work with logistics, commercial, and M&E teams to streamline data flow.
\nFacilitate performance reviews for distributors and reps.
\nEscalate and resolve field-level issues affecting product flow.<\/p>\n

\nMinimum Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bachelor\u2019s degree in Pharmacy\/Medical Laboratory Science\/Public Health, or related field.
\nAt least 5 years of experience in medical\/pharmaceutical sales supervision or field sales management.
\nHands-on experience in managing multi-tiered distribution models (primary and secondary sales structures).
\nFamiliarity with NGOs or social marketing organizations is desirable.
\nStrong proficiency in sales tracking, stock verification, and route-to-market analysis.
\nAdvanced use of Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.<\/p>\n
