All this in addition to a brilliant opportunity to build a career in your field of expertise, across our different operating companies in Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Airtel Africa is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and remain fully committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>To plan, monitor and control HR budget.<\/p>\n<p>Effectively handling operational expenditure under HR budget and ensuring cost control.<br \/>\nOversee data availability and optimization of Airtel Tanzania HR costs.<br \/>\nProvide effective HR cost forecast in line with planned employee activities such as recruitment, salary reviews, incentive payouts etc.<br \/>\nCompilation and distribution of HR functional Management and Performance Analysis (MAPA) to Airtel Tanzania leadership and Group.<\/p>\n<p>Payroll Management<\/p>\n<p>Payroll system and partner management.<br \/>\nPayroll reconciliations.<br \/>\nProvide payroll information as requested by auditors.<br \/>\nServes as a contact for employees. Answer question regarding pay policies and procedures. Assist in resolving pay-related problems.<br \/>\nRegister and process employee and salary information and details to the employee- and salary database, to ensure the availability of complete and up-to-date employee information at any time and contribute to timely salary payments.<\/p>\n<p>Payroll Summaries &amp; Returns\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Prepare payroll summary reports to facilitate salary journal preparation.<br \/>\nPrepare monthly statutory returns (PSSF, WCF PAYE&amp;SDL) and ensure their timely payments.<br \/>\nPrepare biannual tax returns &amp; ensure their timely submission.<br \/>\nPrepare annual earnings &amp; deduction for all employees.<\/p>\n<p>HR Information System<\/p>\n<p>Analyze and understand the current state of Automation in Tanzania.<br \/>\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date HR data, including employee information (HRMS), attendance, Leave management and performance records.<br \/>\nEnsure data integrity, confidentiality, and security.<\/p>\n<p>HR Analytics<\/p>\n<p>Monitor and direct analysis of HR performance Metrics and employee information reporting.<br \/>\nGenerate HR reports, Score card and analytics to support business decisions.<br \/>\nAnalyze the information to prepare required ratios\/HRMIS for decision making eg productivity ratios, cost of employment etc.<br \/>\nProvide insights and recommendations to management on HR trends and issues.<\/p>\n<p>HR Audits and Compliance<\/p>\n<p>Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.<br \/>\nIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.<br \/>\nCollaborate with HR team to develop and implement new initiatives.<br \/>\nManage all HR Audit Queries closures and mitigation implementations<\/p>\n<p>HR Policies and Procedures<\/p>\n<p>Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.<br \/>\nCommunicate HR policies and procedures to employees and management.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Disciplinary and Grievances<\/p>\n<p>Handle employee Disciplinary and grievances and complaints in a fair, timely, and professional manner.<br \/>\nConduct investigations, gather facts, and provide recommendations for resolution.<br \/>\nCoordinate annual Disciplinary Committee meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Oversee staff business travel and accommodation<\/p>\n<p>Manage flights, hotels, and transportation bookings for staff, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.<br \/>\nTravel Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to company travel policies and procedures.<br \/>\nVendor Management: Build relationships with travel vendors (airlines, hotels, etc.) to negotiate best rates.<br \/>\nTravel Support: Provide assistance to staff with travel-related queries and issues<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Educational Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>Bachelor\u2019s degree in HR, Business Administration, Accounting or related field<\/p>\n<p>Relevant Experience<\/p>\n<p>Minimum 8+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or related field.<\/p>\n<p>Other requirements including Behavioural competencies<\/p>\n<p>Proven experience in HR data management, payroll processing, and audits.<br \/>\nStrong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.<br \/>\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<br \/>\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.<br \/>\nTime management skills and should be able to prioritize tasks under pressure.<br \/>\nFlexible and quick in responding to requests made at short notice periods.<br \/>\nPossess self-motivation and determination.<br \/>\nReliable and trustworthy.<br \/>\nGood organizational skills.<br \/>\nExcellent, high-level knowledge; complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field of expertise and general knowledge of other related disciplines<\/p>\n<p>Sharing is Caring!
