Role Overview
\nZambia Cargo & Logistics Ltd (ZCL) is seeking a qualified and experienced Regional Freight Forwarding Agent to join its team. This role serves as a vital link between the company and the market, focusing on driving business growth, building client relationships, and promoting ZCL\u2019s logistics and freight services. The position emphasizes customer acquisition, market intelligence, and brand representation while ensuring competitive positioning in the industry.

\nResponsibilities<\/p>\n
Identify and onboard new customers, explore new markets, and support revenue growth.
\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, key stakeholders, government agencies, and industry bodies.
\nPlan and execute marketing campaigns, represent the company at industry events, and ensure positive brand visibility.
\nMonitor competitor activities and market handling rates, advising management on competitive pricing strategies.
\nProvide regular updates to the Commercial Manager on marketing, customer activities, and corporate affairs, utilizing analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of commercial strategies.<\/p>\n
Minimum Qualifications<\/p>\n
Educational qualification in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
\n5-10 years of experience in the logistics industry.
\nPrior experience as an agent in the logistics industry is preferred.
\nFieldwork experience is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
