Position: General Manager \u2013 Vessel Operations
\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Manager to oversee and manage the overall operations of our vessel.
\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for strategic planning, operational efficiency, compliance with maritime regulations, financial management, and leading the crew to ensure smooth and safe operations.
\nKey Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\u00a0Oversee daily operations of the vessel, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
\n\u00a0 Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize performance and profitability.
\n\u00a0 Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
\n\u00a0Lead, mentor, and supervise crew members to maintain high standards of performance and discipline.
\n\u00a0Ensure proper maintenance schedules and operational readiness of the vessel.
\nLiaise with relevant authorities, stakeholders, and partners to support smooth business operations.
\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, efficiency, and service quality.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (Master\u2019s degree is an added advantage).
\n\u00a0 Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in vessel management, shipping, or related maritime operations.
\n\u00a0 Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
\n\u00a0In-depth knowledge of international maritime laws and safety regulations.
\n\u00a0Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.<\/p>\n
